As a bride-to-be, I was initially a little skeptical about finalizing the venue in such a short time,but the team made me feel I had chosen absolutely right. They stood by us, welcomed every suggestion, and beautifully brought everything together.The indoor hall had a luxurious ambience with an excellent sound system, and the food was absolutely delicious,kudos to the entire culinary team.A very special thanks to Miss Shonima, our guest advisor,an absolute sweetheart who guided us throughout and was always just a call or text away.Truly satisfied with the service. I stayed at Malabar Manuelsons for a week and had a very pleasant experience overall. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with a welcome drink, which was a nice touch.The rooms were clean and adequately spacious, providing a comfortable stay. My booking included breakfast, and the breakfast spread was impressive, offering a good variety of dishes with consistent quality and taste. I also had dinner at the hotel on a few occasions and found the food to be well-prepared and enjoyable. The hotel additionally offers a decent selection of alcoholic beverages.Malabar Manuelsons has dedicated banquet and event halls, and during my stay, I noticed several corporate meetings, programs, and private events being hosted there, indicating its suitability for both business and social gatherings.The property offers ample parking space, with valet service available for added convenience. Its location on the main road, and proximity to Kozhikode Beach, makes it easily accessible and convenient for travelers.Overall, it was a very good stay experience. While the hotel is slightly on the costlier side compared to some nearby options, the comfort, service, and facilities justify the pricing.

One of the major advantages of this hotel is the ample parking space, along with valet parking, which adds comfort and ease, especially in a busy city location.However, the food experience does not justify the pricing. The items listed on the menu are not value for money, considering both quality and taste. Although a combo breakfast is available, the seating arrangements are congested, which affects the overall dining experience, particularly during peak hours.The main drawback lies in the breakfast combo itself. The items appear to be included just for the sake of variety. There is no bread toaster available, which is quite basic for a hotel of this category. Staples like idli, vada, and dosa fail to meet standard expectations, especially when compared to other well-known hotels in Calicut. The sambar is the weakest part of the menu, lacking flavor and quality, and significantly pulls down the overall food experience. When compared with similar hotels in the area, the food section feels only average at best.On a positive note, room service is good and responsive. The room quality is average when compared to the price charged, and there is scope for improvement. Additionally, the air-conditioning performance is not up to the mark, which can be uncomfortable, especially during warmer days.Overall VerdictMalabar Palace Hotel scores well in terms of location, parking facilities, and room service, but falls short in food quality, breakfast offerings, and room comfort for the price. It may be suitable for short business stays or travelers prioritizing location, but those expecting a satisfying dining experience or premium room comfort may feel disappointed.

What a wonderful surprise! Incredibly professional, well maintained hotel that felt welcoming. It's in an excellent location, close to all the major sightseeing places and bus and railway stations. The staff are courteous and professional. The facilities are top-notch. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. We even got a free upgrade due to room availability. The room service was also excellent and timely with delicious food for very affordable prices. On the whole, premium experience for a very affordable price range. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in close proximity to the beach and SM street.
