Nakshatra Beach Resort

Our stay at O'NEST Nakshatra Beach Resort was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We arrived late, yet the rooms were still not ready, which clearly reflects poor management and zero coordination.The restaurant experience made things even worse orders were taken confidently, partially served, and then denied without any proper explanation. To top it off, items that were never delivered were still added to our final bill. When we raised concerns, the staff showed no accountability and no willingness to fix their mistakes. Completelyunprofessional behavior.If you're only looking for a property that looks good in pictures, then go ahead and book this place. But if you actually expect proper service, honesty, and basic hospitality standards, this resort will seriouslydisappoint you.And to add, the level of chlorine in the pool was so terrible that my and my friend's clothes' color just faded and changed to something else.Overall, a terrible experience and absolutely not worth the money. Rating: 0/10 - would not recommend.

The resort is situated at an absolutely amazing spot, offering stunning views of the Arabian Sea right from your cottage. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy a beautiful sunset from your balcony. The resort also has a restaurant with a bar. The bartender served us excellent mocktails as well as superb cocktails. The food is good, and buffet breakfast is included in the stay, which is a great advantage.However, we had one issue with the reception staff member, Mr. Sudarshan Kumar. His initial interaction with us felt a bit rude and carried an unnecessary attitude. When we arrived, the housekeeping staff were occupied elsewhere, so Mr. Kumar accompanied us to show the cottages. Although he came along, he did not enter the cottage to explain the amenities provided by the resort and remained outside while we explored everything on our own. He initially showed us Cottage Solitaire 6, but after some time, he declined to allot it to us and instead gave us Solitaire 5. We are unsure about the reason for this change. Overall, we found him somewhat difficult to deal with.Despite this experience, the resort is truly a must-visit place, as it offers one of the best views among all the resorts in Ganpatipule. Ganpatipule is one of my all-time favorite places on earth.

100 marks for Location, Rooms are okay. Garden rooms are really cool.Service here has detoriated over years now. Hospitality at reception is not good. No welcome drinks, no polite behaviour as before.I will still recommend to visit due location, the sea view is amazing.Facility and area is beautifully maintained. People who clean rooms and restaurants are very sweet and helping.

Rooms are clean, spacious, and well-designed, offering great comfort. The staff is extremely polite, helpful, and attentive, making the stay even more pleasant.The serene surroundings and proximity to the beach make it a perfect place to unwind. Onest Beach Resort has an excellent location with a beautiful view, and the property itself looks well-maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was supportive, and a special mention to GM Mr. Vinod Kumar, who personally interacted with guests and ensured they were comfortable’his involvement was truly appreciated.However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The bathroom could be upgraded with a more modern and stylish design. Additionally, the staff needs to be more attentive while taking orders; at times they seemed to rush and did not fully listen, which affected the service experience.We visited with family, and for our 4-year-old child, we were provided a mattress at an additional cost of ’500 per night. It would be better if such essentials for small children were offered complimentary, considering it is a family-friendly resort.Team coordination also needs improvement so that service is consistent. At times, it felt like only Mr. Kumar was genuinely focused on guest satisfaction while some staff members were more focused on completing tasks quickly rather than understanding the guest’s needs. Strengthening teamwork and planning would greatly enhance the overall experience.On the positive side, I would definitely give 5 stars for the food. The taste and quality were excellent. Although the service time and order handling could improve, the food itself was outstanding.Overall, a good experience with scope for refinement, and great potential to become an excellent resort with a few improvements.
