Nijaguna Resort

Ideally I would have given a -10 rating, but unfortunately Google doesn’t allow that.From start to end, it was a very bad experience. I had booked through Agoda and showed the confirmation, but the receptionist refused to accept it and asked me to book again at almost 30% higher price. Completely unprofessional.The room condition was pathetic. Since it was a last-minute trip, I had no other option and had to stay, even after seeing the condition. Honestly, even a basic lodge room would be better than this.No proper maintenance at all. The room was not cleaned, and even the bedsheets were not changed. Staff were not supportive and didn’t seem to care about customer concerns. It feels like they already know customers will be dissatisfied but still continue charging high prices.Outside appearance and photos on Google look good, but inside it’s a completely different story. Very misleading. Looking at the experience, I’m not surprised many reviews are negative.Only positives I can mention are the location, right in the heart of Chamarajanagar with easy access, and they provide unlimited hot water.Missed to mention one posting note it's breakfast... Complementary breakfast is good.. i never expected from this management..Overall, not recommended at all.

Money Wasted. Room service person not available. Water bottle not given. Lot of issues in this hotel. I m booked this hotel 7 rooms with family. It's not a 5 star hotel. 0 star hotel. Service person not available in hotel. Only reception Manager available. One person Rs.1000 rupees paid. But not given water bottle. You have to pay Rs.30 rupees water bottle. Pls don't book this hotel. Totally waste.The only good thing is the chefs hand in lunch and dinner at the in house restaurant.Rooms are average and pool and other amenities are below average. Poorly maintained property.You can get better rooms at same price.Don't get fooled by the images.Felt cheated as we didn't get pool facility nor spa. The gaming zone is just dust zone.Overall value for money is just 00000 %

’ Very Disappointing Experience ’ Not Worth the PriceWe came all the way from Gujarat with high expectations after seeing the resort’s impressive exterior. Unfortunately, the experience inside was completely the opposite.We arrived around 8:30 PM and were allotted a room for three adults. To our surprise, there was no room service or room boy available at night, which is unacceptable for a resort that claims premium standards.An extra bed was provided, but the mattress was in terrible condition’thin, dirty, and visibly worn with stains. When we requested a replacement, the second mattress was just as bad. Eventually, we had to stack both mattresses together to make it usable. Even basic things like pillow covers were missing, and we had to specifically ask for them.The room itself lacked basic amenities’no napkins, outdated furniture, and poor maintenance. The TV remote didn’t work, and overall the room felt old and neglected.Dinner was served at an outdoor restaurant, which is actually a beautiful location. However, service was extremely slow and understaffed. There was only one person handling orders, serving food, and preparing bills, which led to long waits.Despite charging 5-star resort prices, this place delivers a 2-star lodge experience at best. The gap between the price and quality is shocking. The resort may look great from outside, but management, service, and room standards need serious improvement.Would not recommend this place unless major changes are made.

Came with my family and i was disappointed by this place and the food they served was worst.Really bad experience, service is bad and also rooms were not clean and room boy's behaviour also bad. Their rooms are not worth for 5600 rupees my money was wasted. There is no maintenance.
