The main positives of my stay were the convenient location and the excellent room service from Karthik, who was courteous, quick to respond, and helpful throughout. However, for a hotel advertised as 4-star, the facilities were disappointing and felt more like a 2-star level. The room lacked basic items like an electric kettle for tea, coffee, or hot water. Drinking water came in a glass bottle, which was fine, but many essential conveniences were missing. The air-conditioner control panel was loose and hanging out of the wall, making it hard for a typical guest to use. While the bathroom was clean and had hot water, toiletries and towels were not provided upfront and had to be asked for. Breakfast was also disappointing. Although scheduled from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the buffet was not properly set up even by 8:30 AM. The menu was very limited, offering only idli or dosa with sambar and two chutneys. Tea and coffee arrived late. Omelettes were available only on request, and fresh juice was served, but there were no other substantial breakfast choices. The hotel does have a good location, plenty of underground parking, and a lift. Still, given that room rates are similar to other true 4-star hotels, the facilities and overall experience were well below expectations. I hope management improves these aspects to match the hotel's rating.

Vilva hotel rooms and service are good, all staff are very good, and the morning food is good 👍
