The stay was comfortable and the facilities include a well maintained infinity pool and well equipped gym. Housekeeping was thorough and vast breakfast buffet. The staff were attentive and friendly enhancing the overall experience. Cleanliness was top-notch contributing to excellent value for money
I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Radisson Blu Coimbatore. As a frequent guest, I have always chosen this hotel whenever I visit Coimbatore, which makes this experience even more disappointing.This time, I booked through the Agoda application, where the room was clearly described as having a single double bed. However, upon arrival, we were assigned a specially accessible room without any prior information or consent. While I completely respect the importance of accessible rooms for guests with special needs, my concern is why such a room was allocated to us. If a guest requiring accessibility features had arrived at that time, the hotel would have faced an unnecessary inconvenience.The room itself lacked several basic amenities expected from a premium hotel charging around 6,000 per night. There was no floor mat in fully air conditioned room, no proper table to work on, and the cupboard mirror was broken. We were in Coimbatore for an important business meeting, and staying in a room with damaged fixtures and missing furniture created an uncomfortable experience.When I raised my concerns at the reception regarding the room category and the bed configuration shown during booking, the response was neither satisfactory nor empathetic. There was no proper explanation or effort to resolve the issue.I understand that room availability can sometimes be limited, but guests should be informed in advance if they are being assigned a different room category. Transparency and communication are essential, especially for a hotel of Radisson Blu's reputation.Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the standards I have experienced during my previous visits. I sincerely hope the management improves its room allocation process and customer service so that future guests do not face a similar disappointment.
