Fairfield by Marriott Coimbatore

Location is close to the airport, that helps. From the room if we need to get something from the house keeping or room service or travel destination , they don’t have different numbers. For every thing we have to call zero & they will inform the concerned like kitchen or travel desk or laundry. It takes very long. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Their chef Mr. Hari speaks to all guests and makes yummy dosas. The kitchen team is excellent, provided you are in the restaurant. Must improve their room service time.

Not a great experience from a Mariott chain hotel lacking customer experience.Not Recommended.1) Checkin process took longer than usual , other mariott chains it's usually done within minutes , here has to wait for 10 minutes or so even after filling in checkin time in app - beleive rooms were not assigned prior and had to visit for rooms to be assigned.2) There was no offer to check or carry luggage after checkin3) We gave 4 ID cards for 2 rooms, so they knew 4 people but we were given only 2 room key in total , proactiveness required to provide 4 keys and had to ask for it explicitly.4) Rooms were smaller than expected for the price offered , believe it's high due to easy airport access.5) Bill was not shared over email explicitly after checkout.Had to call a week after 5 days to send the bill and guess what they sent a empty bill with no amount and zero line item on the bill.No one checks if bill is accurate ?All in all not so pleasant experience for a Marriott gold member and there are better Mariott chains available in Coimbatore.

Extremely disappointing experience at Fairfield Marriott. The biggest issue was that the rooms were not available at the promised check-in time, which caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration after a tiring journey. Despite post the check in time, we were made to wait for a long period without any clear communication or proper updates from the staff. Additionally the staff is not at all incordation, and we are told to wait for 1 hr for the room.What made the experience worse was the lack of professionalism in handling the situation. Instead of proactively assisting guests or offering a sincere apology, the staff seemed unorganized and indifferent. For a hotel that carries the Marriott name, I expected much better coordination, customer service, and hospitality standards.Guests book hotels expecting comfort, reliability, and timely service, especially when paying premium prices. Delaying room availability without proper management reflects poorly on the hotel’s operations. Overall, the experience was stressful and far below expectations. I would definitely think twice before staying here again or recommending this property to others.

I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Coimbatore for two days during a business trip to Coimbatore. The hotel is conveniently located just about 1 km from Coimbatore International Airport, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.The rooms are well-equipped with essential amenities including a kettle, mini fridge, iron, tea and coffee kit, and a hairdryer. They also provide useful toiletries such as a dental kit, shaving kit, and comb, which adds to the convenience of the stay.The staff were welcoming, courteous, and always ready to help with any queries or requests throughout our stay. The hotel also features a 24/7 gym, which is perfect for relaxing or maintaining your workout routine at any time of the day.There is a small recreational area with foosball, carrom, and chess, which is a nice addition for guests looking to unwind. Parking space is limited, but you can usually find a spot without much difficulty.Breakfast was included in my room package, and the buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. There is also a church nearby that guests can visit. Plenty of restaurants and eateries are located around the hotel if you prefer to explore dining options outside the property.Overall, I had a comfortable and pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Coimbatore.
