Le Méridien Coimbatore

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a very comfortable experience. The room was excellent.The overall comfort and ambiance were Exceptional however the service experience did not match the quality of the property. During booking, it was mentioned that complimentary tea was included, but no information was provided at check-in. When we asked the receptionist, we were told that a coupon would be available in the room and that we should bring it to the restaurant. Unfortunately, there was no coupon in the room.We returned to the reception for clarification but did not receive clear guidance and ended up waiting for more than 30 minutes. Eventually, we were simply told to inform the restaurant staff. To our surprise, the complimentary tea was provided for only one person, while the other guest received nothing, despite the booking being for two people.The following morning, the restaurant waitress informed us that they had run out of cappuccino beans. Strangely, the same cappuccino was available through room service, which made the explanation confusing and inconsistent.The hotel has excellent rooms and offers a wonderful level of comfort, but the staff communication, coordination, and consistency in service need significant improvement. With better training and clearer communication, the overall guest experience would truly match the quality of the property.

The breakfast was okay, but the hotel refused to provide a two-separate-bed room as requested, giving a single bed instead.

An excellent property, it's huge, very courteous staff. Amazing spread in the breakfast. Keeping up the standard of Marriott. It's located a little away from the city Centre but is very much accessible and has good connectivity. With the new flyover it hardly takes time to travel to any place within the city Centre. I had a great experience overall!!
