Disappointing Dress Code

We just went for a casual dinner and had a disappointing experience at Le Meridien Coimbatore. Me and my cousins were stopped at the entrance and told we couldn't come in because we were wearing trousers. When we asked about the dress code, Mr. Ganesh, Room Division Manager, and Gyanavel from Security, reiterated that it's their policy to not allow guests in trousers. We were pretty surprised and ended up walking back ’’. Decent Stay with Flaws

Nice hotel, great breakfast but the rooms are slightly run down. Since this hotel is 15 years old, the general maintenance work done is all done very poorly. Housekeeping services are not up to the mark as expected in a Marriott group hotel. Apart from this, its a nice hotel. Restaurant amd front office staff are warm and responsive.
