Booking ID 9088577164912 Very Disappointing Experience at Oasis Suites, Hubballi – Not Worth the Price I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Royal Rits Hubballi on Friday. On Saturday, I stayed at Oasis Suites Hubballi, expecting a similar experience because both hotels are in a comparable price range. Unfortunately, my experience at Oasis Suites was very disappointing. We checked in around 6:00 PM, even though the official check-in time was 12:00 PM. Despite checking in much later than the standard check-in time, we were given a room that was not properly prepared. Firstly, there was no minibar or refrigerator in the room, even though a menu showing cold drinks and minibar items was provided. The snacks available in the room were also completely different from what was mentioned in the price menu. In the bathroom, only one toothbrush kit was provided even though we were two guests. Additionally, the shampoo container was empty and had not been refilled. During check-in, we were informed that breakfast would be served on the first floor. However, when we went there, we found that it had been shifted to the second floor, causing unnecessary confusion. The complimentary breakfast itself was very limited and disappointing. Compared to Hotel Royal Rits Hubballi, which provided a much richer breakfast in a similar price range, the service at Oasis Suites was poor. Another major issue was that there was no drinking water available on any of the breakfast tables. I have photographic proof of this. When we requested water bottles, we were informed that they would be chargeable. We purchased two bottles of water and were charged ₹74, but no bill was provided. There was also an issue during check-in where the reception staff entered an incorrect address in the registration form that did not belong to me. I am not from the USA, yet incorrect information was entered. Although I was informed that I would receive an invoice, I took photographs of the registration details for my own records and safety. The room allocated to us was not properly prepared, and the room view was disappointing, facing only the wall of another building. During checkout, we faced another unpleasant experience. The reception staff questioned us about chocolates, assuming that we had consumed minibar items because they saw a chocolate wrapper. We clarified that the chocolate belonged to us and was not provided by the hotel. We were made to wait for around 5 minutes while they verified this. Eventually, the staff themselves admitted that the chocolates shown on the minibar menu were not actually present in the room and that the items kept in the room were different from what was listed. This caused unnecessary delay and inconvenience during checkout. The only positive aspect of our stay was the security guard, who was very helpful in assisting us in locating Oasis Suites and providing support. Overall, considering the price paid, Oasis Suites Hubballi did not provide good value for money. Based on my personal experience, I strongly recommend that couples and other travelers choose Hotel Royal Rits Hubballi instead and avoid Oasis Suites Hubballi if they expect good service, proper facilities, and a hassle-free stay. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their service standards.
