Pai Resort

It was an average experience at Pai resort. They offered us upgrade of our booked room category because the hotel was occupied for a high profile wedding function that day and the next day. But the upgraded room had worst location with all garbage lying in the corner outside. One can not open curtains as it was so bad view outside.Then we insisted them to shift us to our booked room category. They kept saying that guests there extended the stay and they are taking time to vacate it. They took hours to shift us to that room and wasted our valuable time in the city and spoilt our plans. The room that they shifted us too had absolutely no view, was very congested for a family of four. We somehow managed to spend a night. They've no amenities at all. I'd not suggest this place for families with small kids. The only positive points are, convenient location for travel to nearby tourist places, cleanliness of rooms and buffet breakfast.

The rooms are nice and luxurious, though some painting needs attention. Since the cottage is a bit distant from the kitchen, it takes some time for room service to deliver food, but the food itself was tasty and portions were generous. Another issue I encountered was that the telephone and TV were not working, so I requested replacements, which were provided quickly. The property's back gate is close to the fruit market and National Highway, allowing visitors from other cities to reach the place without entering the town. You can see the lake when arriving through the main gate. Overall, it's a pleasant property with plenty of parking, and the buffet breakfast stood out with hot, delicious food offering both continental and South Indian breakfast options.

Rooms are clean and nice, and the staff is courteous.

The location and the people are really nice, and the rooms are spacious.
