Whenever guests arrive at the resort, staff remind them about additional charges for using the kettle and other items. This was unpleasant. There is no intercom, so guests cannot easily communicate with staff or the resort for any needs. Staff behavior needs improvement.

A lovely experience, the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent. The rooms were comfortable and the ac was powerful. They also have plenty of cats just lounging about which added to the stay.

A wonderful stay with friendly and accommodating staff, a satisfactory breakfast, and comfortable rooms with strong air conditioning. The presence of many cats relaxing around also enhanced the experience.

Great service, excellent food, and value for money. Right at the centre of it all in Havelock.That said, the best part of Placid has to be Kishore. He was warm, welcoming, and always around to help with anything. And Shilpi Didi who cleaned our post-dive rooms everyday. I'd go back to Placid not for food and location (as good as they are), but for Kishore's fantastic hospitality.
