Royal Villa Beach Resort

No Villa, Dirty Swimming Pool, bathroom with cockroaches. Food in the restaurant was also of low quality.

Our check-in and check-out at Royal Villa Beach Resort went smoothly, and the location and resort were generally good. However, I was quite let down by the room management and upkeep during our stay. I had reserved two rooms, one for my parents and one for myself, and since the booking was confirmed, I expected the rooms to be properly inspected and ready before being assigned to us. Sadly, the first room's AC was not working, so I had to switch rooms. In the second room, the bathroom flush was broken, forcing me to move again. Having to change rooms multiple times was very frustrating, especially traveling with my parents. The rooms also seemed poorly maintained, with dust visible in many areas, and the overall cleanliness and upkeep could have been much better. For a resort of this caliber, I anticipated more attention to these basics. I also felt the staff could have been more responsive and better trained to handle such issues, as they were not very proactive in resolving the room problems. Another upsetting incident was that my face wash disappeared from the room during the room changes. I understand items can sometimes get misplaced during moves, but I expected better care and responsibility from the hotel. That said, aside from these problems, the rest of our experience was positive. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves room inspections, cleanliness, maintenance, and staff training. With more focus on these areas, the overall guest experience could be greatly enhanced.

I visited in the off-season for my stay and had a wonderful experience.
