Poppys Pleasant Stay

We recently stayed at Pleasant Stay Poppys, Kodaikanal, and it was truly one of the best experiences we've had.The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making our family feel completely at home. The complimentary breakfast was excellent’healthy, nutritious, and delicious, with a good variety of options every morning.What made our stay truly special was the exceptional hospitality of Mr. Gilson (Manager). His kindness, genuine care, and attention to every guest made us feel valued throughout our stay. He always greeted us with a warm smile and went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. It's rare to meet someone who serves guests with such dedication and sincerity. He is a real asset to the hotel.Thank you, Mr. Gilson, and the entire Pleasant Stay Poppys team, for making our Kodaikanal trip so memorable. We are leaving with beautiful memories and will definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Kodaikanal!

Hotel is nice and the rooms look spacious and comfortable on first viewing. However this place definitely has some pros and cons.Pros: affordableHas a lovely gaming area with carrom board, Foosball table and more.The restaurant is decent for lunch and dinner.The service is quickThe staff is polite and accommodating.Cons: the view isn't great. The rooms are built down the hill slope with reception being the top floor. This gives a claustrophobic feel in the corridors and if you want wide open spaces when you open the window, this isn't the place for you.The facilities in the room were lacking. The kettle was leaking and the bathroom had a smell that just did not go away.Wifi is one of the biggest problem. There is very little if any connectivity inside the rooms.Breakfast is below average. There are very few options .The building is old and the room we were in on the third floor had shabby furniture while the walls had water damage.
