Sashas Holiday Village

Not sure how this place is running...the property is good but the staff are poorly trained. You could also feel the substandard services such as very pathetic restaurant, no response for any room services and the bathroom cleaniness. The WC was dirty when we checked in and I immediately requested for cleaning but no one shows up. I requested for water glasses however I hot it 24 hrs later upon requesting further.

To my 13 million viewers, this is by far the worst place I've stayed at in Goa, even worse than a 2-star in terms of cleanliness and staff. I informed them of my arrival at 4 pm but checked in late at night, and what I experienced should warn everyone to avoid this property. There was no reception staff or bellboys, just two watchmen who took our luggage to the rooms. Despite Goa being full of tourists, there was not a single car here except mine, which should have been a red flag. My room, number 105, had a jammed lock that took 5-8 minutes to open. The room smelled like it hadn't been opened in years or like a wooden room left uncleaned in the rain. The bed and bath linens were so unhygienic I wouldn't even let a street dog use them—photos uploaded. The walls were cracked and discolored in many places, making the room look like it needs serious repairs—see pictures. The bathroom mirror was uglier in person than in the photos. The toilet was filthy and the jet holder broken, as shown in the pictures. The bathroom window was rusted and dirty, unfit even for household help. I'm staying this one night because I arrived from Mumbai and there was no light in the common area, which scared my child, and outside the bathroom window a broken flickering light scared him even more—photos and videos uploaded. I urge Agoda, MakeMyTrip, and TripAdvisor to delist this property until they inspect it themselves. Giving this place 4 stars damages your credibility as travel platforms. It deserves at most one star, and that's being generous. Spread the word; I'm warning my entire network to avoid this place.

The room was nicely furnished, comfortable, and decorated with charming vintage-style touches, ensuring a restful and luxurious stay. Overall, my experience went beyond expectations, and I would strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a sophisticated and memorable retreat. I am eager to return for a longer visit soon.
