We stayed at Shivjot Resort from 29 August to 30 August 2026 in a Family Suite (Room 211). Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing resort experiences we have had.The biggest and most shocking issue was that we were waiting to go outside because the staff had lost the key for our room/outdoor access. We had to wait while the staff tried to sort out the issue. This is completely unacceptable for a resort.We immediately reported that Wi-Fi and the TV/LED were not working. We were told by the staff that the issue would be resolved within 15 minutes. However, despite repeated calls and WhatsApp messages, it was still not working until we checked out.We even have the WhatsApp conversation as proof. The resort representative kept asking us to wait and said they would check with reception, but the problem was never properly resolved.Housekeeping was also extremely poor. The room was mopped only after we made repeated calls. Basic services should not require guests to call reception 4–5 times.Reception Service – Extremely PoorAlmost every service required 3–5 calls/follow-ups before anything was actually done. We had to continuously chase the reception instead of enjoying our family stay.Indoor Games Area – Very Poorly MaintainedThe indoor games area was another disappointment:Only fans — no AC or coolerPool table had only one usable stickTable tennis had no ballOverall, the games area was not properly maintained or usableFor a family resort, this is not what guests expect.🍽️ Restaurant Food – ExcellentThe restaurant food was genuinely excellent, and this was the biggest positive of our stay. The restaurant team deserves appreciation for the food quality.However, good food cannot compensate for poor reception service, maintenance problems, housekeeping delays and lack of staff coordination.What makes this experience even more disappointing is that we reported these problems during our stay and gave the resort several opportunities to resolve them, but most issues remained unresolved until checkout.We came for a family vacation expecting a comfortable and relaxing stay. Instead, we spent our time calling reception, sending WhatsApp messages, waiting and repeatedly following up for basic services.Management needs to seriously improve staff coordination, reception response, housekeeping and maintenance.Stay: 29–30 August 2026Room: Family Suite, Room 211Based on our experience, I would NOT recommend Shivjot Resort to families looking for a hassle-free and well-managed stay.The WhatsApp conversations and responses from the resort are available as documentation of the complaints made during our stay.

A very nice experience with excellent service. Truly a memorable place.

Service was excellent

My wife and I stayed at Shivjot Resort from 24–25 July, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we've had. We paid over ₹5,000 expecting a clean and comfortable room, but the reality was quite the opposite. Although the official check-in time was 2:00 PM, we got our room only around 2:30 PM. Inside, the room was in bad shape—mosquitoes were present, lizards were in the room and on the balcony, curtains were stained, the bedsheet was not properly arranged, and the AC was malfunctioning. The washroom was also not clean and lacked basic toiletries. What upset us most was the staff's reaction. I asked for a room change at reception immediately, but it took them two hours to respond, and no alternate room was offered. I also contacted MAKEMYTRIP for help but got no useful support. This was not just about cleanliness but also the total absence of hospitality and customer care after reporting the problems. They even charged for a water bottle when I ordered food from their restaurant. Guests paying this amount deserve much better. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Shivjot Resort. I hope the management seriously upgrades hygiene, room upkeep, and customer service so future visitors don't face what we did.
