I stayed at Sri Bhagavathi Residency, Palani, having booked two rooms. While the property itself is new, well-maintained, clean, and conveniently located close to the temple, the overall service and management attitude were very disappointing.We reached the hotel around 7:00 AM. When we requested early check-in, the initial response was a flat refusal. Later, the owner intervened, but was quite rude, questioning why we had arrived so early. Since we had booked two rooms, they eventually adjusted and gave us one room.The bigger issue was the second room. We were promised it would be handed over by 12:00 PM, but we finally received it only at 2:30 PM. Until then, our entire family had to adjust and squeeze into a single room.The next morning, service delays continued with the complimentary breakfast. We had to wait around an hour and thirty minutes just to get food. In hindsight, skipping it would have been better, as this unnecessary wait completely derailed our itinerary for our next destination, Madurai.The amenities and cleanliness are good, but the lack of hospitality, unpunctual room delivery, and slow service leave a bad taste. Because of these service-related issues, I cannot comfortably recommend this property.
Had a very comfortable stay with family. The room was clean and well-maintained and the overall experience was pleasant. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout the stay. The service was prompt and good. Location is close to sannidhanam and nearby parking facility available. Definitely recommend this hotel and be happy to stay here again.
