I visited this place but it was my biggest mistake. The room that was offered to us had a split AC, the temp set on AC showed 16, we got it checked through the management too but it did not cooling at all and we had to spend the night drenced in sweat and suffocation. The room is of extremely poor quality, with nothing provides to us, no tea milk sugar sachets, which is basic of any hotel to give. Moreover there is No WIFI, so goodluck if you want internet, that does not happen here! Overall, if I could, I would have rated it -ve but google doesn't allow that. Please DO NOT visit this place.’’??

Silky Resorts is, without question, a triumph of illusion’sprawling in appearance, almost majestic from afar, and yet remarkably efficient at dismantling every expectation the moment one steps inside. It is less a stay and more an endurance exercise wrapped in architectural optimism.The mattress, gracefully torn, seems to have given up on life long before the guests arrived, offering a textured sleeping experience that one might generously describe as ’ventilated.’ The discovery of bidi buds in the toilet adds an unexpected cultural immersion’nothing quite says ’premium hospitality’ like remnants of someone else’s leisure.The hand shower, in its stoic refusal to function, encourages a meditative patience rarely cultivated in modern life. Meanwhile, the geyser performs with theatrical reluctance, heating water at a pace that suggests it is deeply contemplating its purpose in the universe.The kettle, charred at the base, appears to have survived a small war, and now rests as a relic of past misuse. Toiletries are provided in quantities so minimal they border on philosophical’perhaps a subtle lesson in detachment from material comforts.And then come the blankets and extra mattress, whose questionable cleanliness ensures that guests remain acutely aware of every surface they encounter. It’s an experience that lingers’on both memory and, quite possibly, clothing.Special appreciation must also be extended to the staff, whose unhurried pace redefines the concept of time itself. Requests are not ignored, merely allowed to mature slowly, like a fine inconvenience.In essence, Silky Resorts offers a stay that is unforgettable’not for comfort or service, but for its unwavering commitment to testing the limits of guest tolerance with quiet, relentless confidence.

The cleanliness needs to be improved. There is no supporting staff when we reached at 11:15 PM, service should not be a time bound. Room provided do not have door handle in bathroom to open. Smell is coming from mattress. Mattress condition is not good, with holes in it, and so on. Slight issue of mosquito. Only Location part is good. Tomorrow we will have breakfast. I am hoping that it will be good.

I stayed at silky resorts (shimla kalka highway) with my wife and one year old daughter. The room was unclean. Dust on the carpet and the table. The bed sheet was stained and there was a lingering smell of stale smoke. The geyser wasn’t working and the washroom was very dirty. The basic family necessities ( slippers, towels, handwash) were missing.If you’re travelling with family and expect a clean, responsive environment, I’d look elsewhere.

I stayed at the silky resorts for one night with my family. Unfortunately my experience was very disappointing.The room wasn't cleaned properly and the geyser wasn't working well.The washrooms were very dirty and even the flush wasn't working.The washroom's door handle was broken. The hotel's location is good but the service and cleanliness need improvement.
