Lemon Tree Hotel Chandigarh

Had a great stay at the hotel. Visited there with the family and the hotel was located at good location which is near to all landmarks and next to Elante Mall. The staff was courteous and helpful, Food options were good and so was the taste. However, they need to improve the service as it was taking long time for the ordered food to be served. Apart from that all was good.

Don’t go by the looks. Its a very cheap and unethical Hotel. They will declare big menu on the buffet but everything is subjected to what you plead. They will take ages to get approval for chicken options in the dinner menu and will show you ’ok sir its approved’. Its better if you order through swiggy or zomato. They only offer good services if you are from russia or other country.

I paid over $ 12,000, but upon entering the room, I was disappointed immediately. The room was small, the blower wasn't working, and the wash basin was clogged. I previously stayed at Holiday Inn, which cost me around $ 6,000, and their service room and ambience were much better than this. Since my stay was prepaid, I expected a comfortable bed after a long day, but I was let down. It's non-refundable, and I'm exhausted, so I'm just posting this honest review.

The Worst Lemon Tree Experience Ever ’ Avoid at All CostsI visited this hotel on 12th October 2025, booking 2 rooms for 4 guests (including my parents). I chose Lemon Tree after years, expecting their usual standards. That was my biggest mistake.From the very start, the experience was disastrous. The Wi-Fi setup was a joke ’ though they claim two devices per guest, we could barely connect two in total, and even then, the speed was painfully slow, worse than outdated 2G. Opening an email attachment was a challenge, and streaming anything was impossible unless you paid extra for their so-called ’high-speed’ plan. It’s a shameless way to force guests into paying more.Next came the hygiene issues. One room had pillow covers that smelled terrible ’ forget the usual ’lemon’ freshness, there was none of it in either room.The dinner experience was equally pathetic. Despite all their self-righteous messages about saving water, they served cold food, even at the buffet. By the time breads arrived, our food was already stone cold ’ and this was when the restaurant had barely 8’10 guests!When I asked to speak to the manager, no one showed up. The next day, a so-called manager finally appeared, only to fabricate excuses. Breakfast was no better ’ hard idlis, undercooked ’special’ parathas, and tea so bad we couldn’t drink it.Even after repeated complaints, the General Manager responded only hours after checkout. That sums up the management here ’ completely indifferent and unprofessional.If you value your time, comfort, or hard-earned money, stay far away from this place. It’s clear the problem runs deep ’ right from the top management down. A thoroughly deplorable hotel with zero accountability.

I always choose this hotel for all my visits to Chandigarh ’ it truly feels like a home away from home. The stay is always comfortable, the service is excellent, and the staff is courteous and attentive. The food at Citrus Caf?? is simply amazing ’ fresh, flavorful, and consistently good every time. A special mention to Tanmoy, who is a wonderful person and always ensures that guests are well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chandigarh!
