I stayed at Lemon Tree for 2 nights. The check-in and check-out process was extremely smooth, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff was readily available and attentive whenever needed.However, I had a major concern regarding guest privacy. During my stay, housekeeping entered my room while I was out and changed the bedsheets/cleaned the room, even though I had not requested or informed them for housekeeping service. When I raised this with the front desk, they stated it was part of the hotel policy. Having stayed at brands like Marriott and Hyatt, daily entry without guest consent or without a "Please Clean" tag is unusual and made me uncomfortable.Overall, the property and hospitality are great, but the management should ensure guest permission is taken before entering rooms during their stay.
# Lemon Tree Chandigarh has a great location, right in the centre of Chandigarh, making it very convenient to explore the city. Most major places are just around 20–25 minutes away.But honestly, **the staff are the biggest strength of this property**. I have stayed at and explored several hotel chains, but the warmth, respect and genuine hospitality I experienced at Lemon Tree Chandigarh were truly commendable. Everyone was extremely humble, polite, helpful and welcoming. You genuinely feel valued as a guest.A special appreciation to a lady whose surname was **Kaur** (unfortunately, I don't remember her first name) and the gentleman at the reception desk. Both were exceptionally kind and helpful.I would also like to specially appreciate the **security guard at the main gate**. Every time we arrived or left with the car, he was there to assist with parking, help with luggage and greet us with a kind smile. These small gestures make a huge difference to the guest experience.The hotel itself is also very good, and the pool area is quite nice. Everything was well maintained and comfortable.Just one small suggestion—not a complaint: the **hygiene and service in the pool-area washroom** could be improved slightly.Apart from this, everything was more than excellent. **The staff truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommended for their exceptional hospitality!**
Room was clean. Good service, good location just next to Elante mall. Value for money price. Food also awesome and at reasonable prices.
