Snow Valley Resorts Dalhousie

Snow valley resort is having an excellent location. Service is very good and food quality is very nice. Valley view rooms are giving us full view of mountains and its a very scenic experienceFood quality is amazing and so is their service. Special mention to Mr Tekchand who has care us for our entire stay and gave us special feeling.It’s my daughter birthday and hotel have arranged decoration that day which makes her day special.Will highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel, courteous staff . Rooms are awesome. 7 floor resort with huge balcony on the 3rd floor . Jhula for kids and adults. The huge window with a great viewpoint. Food is awesome int he restaurant and breakfast buffet has lots of options. 7th floor has kids play zone with Pool table, TT table etc. Car parking is an issue . Had an amazing experience in this hotel.

We stayed at Snow Valley Resorts from 18th to 21st October 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The stay during Diwali with family was truly memorable ’ filled with warmth, festive vibes, and comfort.The journey from Pathankot to Dalhousie itself was exciting, and the resort’s location and scenic viewpoint added to the charm. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help, especially Mr. Ankit Thakur (Front Office) and Mr. Vijay Katoch (Service Department), who made our stay extra comfortable.We also enjoyed exploring nearby attractions like Khajjiar ’ the Mini Switzerland of India, JaiMaa Pohalani and other beautiful spots around Dalhousie.Overall, an excellent stay with great hospitality, lovely views, and lasting memories. Highly recommended for families visiting Dalhousie! ’’’

From the moment we arrived at Snow Valley Resorts, the sweeping views of the valley and distant snow-capped peaks immediately stood out. Our room was spacious, clean and warmly heated, and from the window we had a panoramic outlook that truly captured the charm of Dalhousie. The location is very convenient: just a short walk from Gandhi/Subhash Chowk and the market area, yet tucked enough to offer a relaxed evening atmosphere. The restaurant served hearty, homestyle meals, and the staff were consistently helpful and welcoming’special mention must go to the front-desk and restaurant teams who went out of their way to assist with sightseeing and logistics.That said, while the stay was overall excellent, a few small things are worth noting. Wifi can be better and cleanliness of the rug can be improved. These did not detract from our experience significantly. In short: Snow Valley is a strong choice for its views, service and location.

I had booked this hotel for a family trip with my husband and our 4-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, due to extremely heavy rainfall and a cloudburst in Dharamshala and nearby areas ’ where sadly lives were lost and many people went missing ’ we were stranded and unable to reach the hotel.Given the severity of the situation and the safety concerns, especially while travelling with a small child, I reached out to the hotel for support. However, I was extremely disappointed by their response. The hotel staff, and even their GM, were completely uncooperative and blunt in refusing to help in any way. They did not show the slightest empathy or understanding, even in such a serious situation.Traveling with family, safety should always be a priority ’ but sadly, the hotel's behavior was cold and inconsiderate. This was a truly disheartening experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values compassion and responsible service.Would not recommend this to anyone.
