A peek into our memorable stay in,’THE TEMPLE TREE RESORT’@ Yelagiri .If you ever get a chance to visit Yelagiri please do visit this resort.A must place to stay in your bucket list of many things to do in the Yelagiri hills .This will definitely be a holiday in the lap of nature, for us city born and bred people.Nestled in the forest within the hills is this 6 bedroom resort.A welcoming portico, with manicured lawns, and colourful flowers during the spring season .The Villa like ambience stole my heart ,large comfortable bedrooms,clean bathrooms,a lovely airy hallway in the ground and one first floor too,and huge dining room in the villa .Not to forget a play area for kids to enjoy their time outdoors in the shade among greenery .A separate dining area near the kitchen just like that of the yester years.This brought back old memories to me of the heritage pre independence bungalows that I’ve visited in hill stations as a child .Where the kitchen and dining is away from the living area.A large irrigation well at the furthest end of the property was very fascinating .The tall Christmas trees, which once was a common sight in our city home gardens , always attracts me to the garden whenever I visit the TempleTree.Ample parking for many cars.An outdoor court to play shuttle, cricket and football too.Indoor games like carom too kept us engagedThis place is so addictive for rejuvenating that we so often get tempted to take a shot break.Our family and friends have been regularly visiting this resort for the past 30 years.We can never get bored of this beautiful and well mentained property .They have upgraded the rooms by adding air conditioners, very thoughtful for the summer months.During our stay there this week we did not need to use the ac.The open windows with fresh air and light showers were adequate to keep us cool.The chirping birds was a welcome sound to hear,when we woke up each morning.The caretaker Mr. Annamalai and his family took care of us in a very special manner.They were very hospitable and catered to our special food needs.We ate home made , fresh, hot,tasty food along with exotic delicacies of the local cuisine.At the end of our stay we enjoyed ourselves so much, that we felt like our stay actually got over too quickly.Alas all good things come to an end very soon.

The resort, with six bedrooms, is tucked away in the forested hills. It features a welcoming entrance, well-kept lawns, and vibrant flowers in spring. The villa-like setting captured my heart, with spacious, cozy bedrooms, spotless bathrooms, airy hallways on both floors, and a large dining room. There's also a shaded outdoor play area for children amidst greenery. A separate dining space near the kitchen reminded me of old heritage bungalows from my childhood visits to hill stations, where the kitchen and dining were separate from the living area. A large irrigation well at the far end of the property was quite intriguing. The tall Christmas trees, once common in our city gardens, always draw me to the garden at Temple Tree. There's plenty of parking for many vehicles, an outdoor court for shuttle, cricket, and football, and indoor games like carom to keep us entertained. This place is so refreshing that we often feel tempted to take short breaks here. Our family and friends have been coming to this resort for 30 years, and we never tire of this beautiful, well-maintained property. They've upgraded the rooms with air conditioners, thoughtful for summer, though during our recent stay, the fresh air and light rain kept us cool without needing AC. The birdsong was a delightful way to start each morning. The caretaker, Mr. Annamalai, and his family treated us with great hospitality, accommodating our special dietary needs. We enjoyed homemade, fresh, hot, and delicious food, including exotic local dishes. By the end of our stay, we had such a wonderful time that it felt like it ended too soon. Sadly, all good things must come to an end.

This property is located near AR thanga Kottai, if u want to stay away from city and deep forest without any disturbance this property is highly Recommended for both family and friends. Rooms are very clean and neat, have all the facilities like wifi, kids and adults play area, food, water. Staff's behaviour also good. If u are planning to visit Yelagiri pls try this property
