Great location and hotel for the price.Not much to do around the area but close to the Taj Mahal

We stayed at Raj Villa Hotel in Agra for one day with our family during winter in December, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely uncomfortable.Firstly, the hotel rooms did not have heaters, and blankets were not provided by default. We had to explicitly ask for blankets. While the staff did bring them, they stayed inside the room, standing and staring at us until we gave them money, which made us feel very uneasy. A similar situation happened when the sink in one of our rooms was clogged. We requested assistance, the staff fixed it, but again remained in the room until we paid them.Another unpleasant incident occurred at the restaurant. We asked for mutton biryani, which was not available on the menu that day. The reception said they would arrange it from a nearby restaurant. It took almost one hour for the food to arrive, and it appeared that the food was actually prepared in their own kitchen rather than brought from outside. The price was higher than what was mentioned on the menu, and when the food was served, the staff member asked us to pay extra money for the ’delivery person.’On the day of checkout, the baggage staff continued to stare at us even after we had already given them money, which again made us very uncomfortable.Overall, the entire stay felt like we were constantly being pressured to give money for every small service. It created a very stressful and unpleasant environment for me and my family.Additionally, the hotel’s vicinity did not feel safe, especially at night. We noticed people sitting in corners and near bushes around the hotel, staring at our belongings, which added to our discomfort and concern for safety.This experience was disappointing and unsettling. I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone looking for a comfortable and safe stay in Agra.

I highly recommend Hatel Taj Vilas because of its clean and comfortable rooms, top-notch amenities, and attentive staff..

No maintenance, only appearance is good, bathroom was clogged with water, don't eat food in the restaurant, fell sick as the fish served was stale and fried rice was horrible, wasted all the food but the staff refused to give refund.... spoiled our holiday experience. Please do not stay in this hotel as I had genuinely horrible experience.

The swimming pool was a welcome addition, providing a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle. It was well-maintained and a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
