We reached Treebo Premium Akshya on Friday afternoon, already exhausted and with my kids unwell. At the time of check-in, the staff informed us that our rooms were cancelled because payment had not been made during booking. However, while booking through Agoda, it clearly showed that payment could be made at check-in.When we requested the staff to help, they said they could not do anything. There was no prior call, message, or intimation from the hotel stating that payment was mandatory to confirm the booking. This lack of communication left us stranded.As it was the weekend, most hotels were already full, and we had to move to a very low‑graded hotel for the time being, which added to our distress. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I feel bad about the way it was handled.
