Vanshika Homestay is somewhat expensive and offers average service and facilities, but its location is quite disappointing. It is not situated in the main part of Kasauli. Without a car, reaching the town is difficult as it is uphill and not within walking distance. The biggest issue is the location lacks scenic beauty. It sits on a barren hillside with views of the plains. The homestay is surrounded by construction and a dirty neighborhood, unlike the charming hill stations travelers usually seek. Staying here means you won't get to enjoy views of lush green forests or easy access to Kasauli's attractions.
