Unhappy Group Experience

A very disappointing stay. Think carefully before choosing this hotel. We reserved it for five adults after confirming details by phone, where we were told a room with an extra mattress would be provided without extra charge. Upon arriving late, the room was much smaller than described and unsuitable for five adults. The reception then asked for extra payment for the mattress. The person who confirmed by phone stopped answering, and reception said they couldn't contact him. When we asked to cancel due to the misleading room, the hotel refused to refund us. The manager argued and suggested we were unreasonable for expecting five adults to fit, despite us informing them of the guest count beforehand. If the room was inadequate, they shouldn't have accepted the booking. After seeing other reviews, it seems this is a common problem, not just a one-time issue. My advice: get all promises in writing before paying, check the room size, and read recent reviews. There are better hotels that respect honesty and customer care.
