Disappointing Scam Experience

The biggest deception was - Unhone hamare sath dhokhe bazi ki. They assured us of all the services we requested during booking, but at the hotel, they refused everything and demanded additional payment. The staff was very rude, and it feels like they are complete frauds.

My stay was very disappointing. I would advise against choosing this homestay, especially for those traveling with family. For early check-in, I was given a small cramped room just to freshen up and charged ₹400 after negotiating down from ₹500. They clearly said this was not the room I booked and that my actual Queen Deluxe room would be provided later. I had booked based on the spacious room shown in the pictures on MakeMyTrip. Instead of the booked room, they moved me to a King-bed room on the 2nd floor with no lift and no attached bathroom, calling it an upgrade but it was very inconvenient. I had to leave my room to use a washroom on the floor. The staff helped with my luggage at check-in but vanished at checkout, so I had to manage the stairs myself. When I complained about no attached washroom and no lift, they said there was a Queen-bed room near reception, but it was the same small room I had paid ₹400 for earlier. The situation was confusing and misleading. The ground and first floors seemed used for household purposes, and at one point a family member was walking around in underwear in the common area, which was very uncomfortable since I was with family. The washroom smelled terrible, like something had died inside, and no room freshener was used. Overall, the stay was poorly managed and misleading. The room I booked was not given, room assignments kept changing, no lift, no attached bathroom, poor hygiene, and no help at checkout. My experience was awful, and I strongly recommend not booking this homestay based on the attractive photos online.
