I had visited this hotel recently, thinking it as a luxury hotel. But it is not. The room was not setup even when informed 2 hrs before entering hotel.After arriving hotel, it took more than 30 mins for room to be allocated. The AC doesn't work in the lobby areaAfter entering room, we had to order every thing, Towels, mats etc and they don't know what is Hand Towel.The Exhaust fan in bathroom does not work. It seems that they have centralized system for exhaust also. So they don't run it. Only when you shout then they start. They had to change the fridge in the room as it was not working.The AC also stopped after some time, and then they restarted. If it was not sufficient, the food quality at restaurant was awful. We ordered paneer dish during dinner. And the paneer was so hard and rubber like. We could not eat it. When enquired found that they use some frozen paneer for their preparation and they don't use fresh paneer. Literally start to end the whole experience wad worst I had in recent past

I booked Vivera Grand Hotel, Dindigul through Agoda for my family (my wife, child, and myself) well in advance. While travelling back from Vagamon, I called the hotel to inform them that I would be arriving late, around 9 PM. To my surprise, I was told that my booking had already been cancelled because I had not checked in by 4 PM. I never received any call, message, email, or notification from either the hotel or Agoda regarding this cancellation. What made the situation worse was that my Agoda app still showed the booking as confirmed.This caused a lot of stress because I was travelling with my family and had to urgently arrange accommodation while on the road. I eventually had to make a fresh booking through another platform and pay more than my original Agoda booking rate.Unfortunately, the experience did not improve after check-in. The room was poorly maintained for the price charged. There was no bathroom mat, the towels were old and stained, there was a strong urine smell in the bathroom, toiletries were inadequate, and the bed linen and quilt appeared worn and discoloured. The refrigerator and television also required attention, resulting in multiple calls to reception for basic necessities and room maintenance.What disappointed me most was the lack of ownership from the hotel management regarding the booking confusion. While one staff member apologized, there was no proper explanation or apology from the management despite the inconvenience caused.My family and I were exhausted after a long journey and expected a comfortable stay, but instead we experienced unnecessary stress, poor communication, and below-average room standards. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel, especially to families travelling with children. The service and room quality did not justify the price charged.
