Vythiri Resort

I stayed at Vythiri Resort with my family and we absolutely loved it. The location of the property is top notch and the overall service is truly unparalleled, whatever you ask for is delivered with a smile.The food was excellent, with a good spread, all served hot and mostly organic. We had no complaints at all. A special mention to the manager, Mr. Saju, who is a wonderful person and took great care to ensure we had the finest experience throughout our stay.Vythiri Resort is definitely a place we would love to come back to again.

Pros:Very spacious clean rooms with amazing waterfall views from the balcony. Complementary activities like Nature walk and bird watch are excellent, and they also organize trekking. This resort is completely isolated from the city and gives you an amazing experience living in the rainforests.I'd highly recommend to stay here, but there are few things you should be aware of, as they do not inform these in advance.1) This place is not elder friendly, as everything is a hike here(either stairs or slopes), even reaching restaurant. There are stairs within the room as well. So, please be aware of this if you are travelling with seniors.2) Since it is a rainforest, there are plenty of leeches. So, please wear bright colored shoes and socks, so they are easy to spot.3) The resort is around 3 km from the main road via a narrow single lane path with no mobile network. If you are not reaching by your own vehicle, it might be difficult to return. Im not sure that they provide a drop. So, please confirm this with them. If they do not provide, transportation support is something that they should ideally provide, given its location.4) We stayed in Vythiri Haven and as my dad couldnt climb stairs, they arranged car service after requesting. Please confirm with them if your room type is similarly accessible. And, please note in that case, elders may not be able to explore the property much due to the stairs and slopes. So they might be confined to their rooms.5) For the same reason as above, we requested for room service for food. But had to request multiple people to get that, despite the rain! Not sure why need to get so many approvals for senior citizens. Because, room service is nothing but, we have to take food in a plate as it is a buffet, and they just deliver it. That shouldn't need multiple calls. Hospitality needs to be improved.Nevertheless, this is a must visit place for nature lovers! The rainforest experience and views around the property are truly unforgettable!

A must-visit resort ! it’s more than a stay, it’s a truly unique experience. I had only heard about rainforests before, but this was my first time actually experiencing one. You get to experience nature in its purest form.The staff were incredibly helpful, and the food was fantastic’’.Daniel’s nature walk and talk were like the cherry on top of a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Vythiri Resort with our family and my brother’s family. The location is breathtaking’right in the middle of the rainforest with streams and lush greenery all around. The hospitality was outstanding, and the staff made our stay truly memorable.Special thanks to Avinash at the front office for his warm welcome and support, and Shine, who manages the restaurant, for ensuring excellent food and service throughout our stay. The Ayurvedic massage was also an amazing and refreshing experience.Overall, it was a perfect family vacation’great food, friendly staff, peaceful surroundings, and top-notch service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and connect with nature.
