Welcome Hotel Dal View (Lakeside Location)

Our stay at Welcome Hotel, Srinagar was truly wonderful. The entire experience was memorable, from the warm hospitality to the beautiful atmosphere of the hotel. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel comfortable and welcomed throughout our stay.The rooms were spacious, clean, well-maintained, and offered a very relaxing ambiance. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, adding to the comfort and luxury of the stay. The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety and excellent quality, making every meal enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed property.The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making the overall stay very enjoyable. The service was consistently up to the mark ’ everything from check-in to housekeeping was smooth and efficient. What truly stood out was the staff; they were extremely cooperative, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attentiveness made the experience feel personalized and hassle-free.The highlight of my stay was definitely the food. The quality was excellent and went well beyond my expectations. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with a great variety of options. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the kitchen team nailed it every single time.Overall, a very satisfying experience. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit to the city!

Pretty good hotel, situated in prime spot. It is on the Dal Lake road, easy for Shikara boat rides and Shankaracharya temple. Rooms are spacious, service in room/restaurant is prompt. Being pure veggies, we could still manage sumptuous food with very good breakfast spread. When we returned after a trip to Pahalgam, they gave us an upgrade to Suite, which was fantastic.2 aged staff in restaurant and other staff like Irfan, Ashiq and Miazamil were very supportive.overall, good place to stay.

Our stay at Welcome Hotel was unfortunately not pleasant. The behavior of the three reception staff members was disappointing and unprofessional. They created a lot of unnecessary ruckus over a loose handle on a small refrigerator and charged us ’3000 for it. The situation could have been handled much more politely and professionally, but instead it became an uncomfortable and heated discussion. We were also not provided with a separate bill for this payment, which added to our dissatisfaction.What stood out even more was that during our 2-day stay, we witnessed these receptionists having heated conversations with at least three different guests, which clearly reflected poor guest handling and hospitality.However, I would like to mention that the kitchen staff and several other staff members were very kind, polite, and helpful throughout our stay.In contrast, our experience at Fresh Water Resort in Pahalgam was excellent. Every single person we interacted with there was warm, hospitable, respectful, and genuinely caring, which made our stay truly comfortable and memorable.I hope Welcome Hotel works on improving the professionalism and attitude of its front desk staff, as good hospitality begins with respectful communication.

I had visited Welcome Hotel Srinagar in the month of April with my family which included senior citizens and a 5 year old child.Few things I would like to mention. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is right in front of Dal Lake which makes it very convenient to travel to different parts of Srinagar. Location wise it is definitely a big plus.The rooms and the overall property were very neatly maintained and comfortable. From a price point also, I felt it was value for money.What really stood out for me was the behaviour of the staff. Everyone was very polite, well mannered and made my family feel comfortable throughout the stay.The restaurant staff were also very helpful. They accommodated small requests like preparing tawa roti for my son and even helped us try Kashmiri Wazwan dishes at short notice.Overall, during our 5 day stay, I did not face any issues or have any reason to complain.If I plan to visit Srinagar again, I would definitely consider staying here again.
