I visited Wood stock Luxury Kasauli hotel in Himachal Pradesh wit my family. The hotel facility is good, staff is very friendly and the breakfast was also decent. The only issue is that the hotel doesn't have a lift. If you have an elderly person and the room allocated is in First or second floor, then it will be an issue.
We recently stayed at Wood Stock Luxury Hotel near Kasauli for 3 days and 2 nights with my wife and our 2-year-old son, and honestly, it turned out to be a really pleasant and memorable stay.From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely humble, polite, and courteous. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and helpful, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality genuinely deserves a special mention.One of the biggest highlights for us was the view from the hotel and especially from our balcony. The scenery was simply breathtaking. Sitting on the balcony, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and mountain views, was one of those moments where you just want to sit back and forget everything else for a while. The overall atmosphere of the property is very relaxing and makes it a great place to unwind.📍 Convenient LocationThe location was another thing we really liked. Main Kasauli is only around 5 km from the hotel, so getting into town and exploring the main attractions was quite convenient, while the hotel itself felt peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle.🍽️ Food deserves a special mentionWe really enjoyed the meals at the hotel. Everything we tried was delicious, but the yellow dal was our personal favourite. It was simple, comforting, and absolutely tasty.Since we only eat halal meat, unfortunately we couldn't try the non-vegetarian options as the hotel serves Jhatka meat. I'm sure the non-veg dishes must be delicious as well, but we had to skip them. A special thanks to the chef for the wonderful vegetarian meals we enjoyed during our stay.👶 Great for families with kidsAnother thing we really appreciated was that the hotel is kid-friendly. Since we were travelling with our 2-year-old son, having a kids' area was a big plus. Our little one had a great time playing there, which also gave us some time to relax and enjoy the property.🚗 A note about the entranceOne thing worth mentioning for anyone travelling by car is the entrance to the hotel. The approach is quite steep and, especially if you're not comfortable driving on steep roads, it can feel a little challenging or intimidating.But the good thing is that the hotel staff is very helpful. If you're not confident taking your car through the entrance, the staff can drive it for you, which we found very thoughtful and reassuring.❤️ Overall experienceOverall, we had a wonderful 3-day, 2-night stay at Wood Stock Luxury Hotel. The beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, delicious food, convenient location, kid-friendly environment, and most importantly, the warm and courteous staff made our stay really enjoyable.It felt like one of those stays where you leave with good memories rather than just checking out of a hotel.I would definitely recommend Wood Stock Luxury Hotel to friends and family, especially if you're looking for a peaceful family getaway near Kasauli. We had a pleasant overall experience at Woodstock Luxury Kasauli – Mountain View. The customer service and staff behaviour were exceptional—the team was courteous, attentive and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.The location is very good, and the property itself is well constructed and maintained. The food quality was good, and the tea deserves a special mention—it was absolutely awesome.However, there are a few areas that could be improved, especially for families with children. The kids’ play area is quite basic and practically unusable during rainy weather. There are also no proper indoor games or recreational facilities, which can make the stay a little difficult for children when outdoor activities are not possible.Overall, it is a good option for couples looking for a peaceful mountain getaway, with excellent hospitality, location and food. However, families travelling with kids may find the entertainment and recreational facilities somewhat limited, particularly during the monsoon.
