Zone Connect by The Park Jaisalmer

I had a pleasant stay at Zone Connect by The Park Jaisalmer. The hotel has a nice ambience and a peaceful location. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful during our stay. Food at the restaurant was tasty and well prepared. Overall, it was a good experience and a comfortable place to stay in Jaisalmer.

We are currently staying at Hotel Zone by park, Jaislamer and have booked 6 rooms today. Our experience so far has been very good. The hotel is nice, the location is perfect, the food is amazing, and there is also a pleasant party atmosphere in the garden.We strictly require Jain food, and the hotel staff arranged excellent Jain meals for us. The entire staff is very humble, polite, and cooperative, which we truly appreciate.However, we noticed another group staying at the hotel (approximately 15’20 people) whose behaviour was very unprofessional and insensitive. They seemed unaware of basic hotel etiquette and did not know how to treat hotel staff respectfully. The reception staff politely requested ID proof from all guests, which is a standard and mandatory procedure, but this group started arguing, saying that one ID should be enough, and began lecturing the receptionist unnecessarily.We personally observed the entire hotel staff trying their best to calmly explain the situation, but the guests were not willing to listen. They kept blaming the hotel for food, service, and other issues. In reality, some of them did not even know their correct room numbers and provided incorrect details, then argued with the reception staff about delayed service. Despite the receptionist patiently asking for the correct room number and explaining the situation, the guests spoke rudely and openly threatened to post bad reviews.Another incident we observed was that 5’6 people from this group loudly complained that the food was bad, yet they finished all the food on their plates. Additionally, members of this group and their children created a lot of noise and disturbance, which troubled other hotel guests. None of these issues were due to any fault of the hotel management.I sincerely request such people to please not try to defame others only for their own convenience or personal benefit. It is unfair to blame and damage the reputation of a hotel when the fault lies in one’s own behaviour. One should first learn how to behave responsibly in a hotel before commenting on its shortcomings or strengths.Based on our personal experience, Hotel Zone by park, Jaislamer provides excellent food, service, and hospitality, and we are fully satisfied with our stay.

Very disappointing experience at Hotel Zone Connect Jesalmer. We did not get the accommodation as per our booking. The room and bed quality were not what was requested or promised. There was no hot water available during the daytime, which was extremely inconvenient.The outside seating arrangements were in very poor condition’the chairs were broken and dirty, completely unusable. Overall maintenance of the property is below standard.The staff was unresponsive and unhelpful, and our concerns were not addressed properly. This stay did not meet basic hospitality expectations. I would not recommend this hotel.

Initially, after reading the negative reviews on Google, we were quite worried. However, our experience was completely different from what had been mentioned in those reviews. Our stay at the hotel was very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff’s behavior was extremely polite and helpful. The entire group had a wonderful experience, and we were truly satisfied with our stay.

Location: it is well marked on maps, can be easily spotted right next to the NH and accessed via a service road.Check-in experience: friction-free check-in experience with a quick allocation of the rooms.Rooms: the room left a lot to be desired. It was not prepared for guests and we had back and forth with the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance to sort out details related to towels, a functioning knob for the fan regulator, water and cups. However, the main downside was the location - it was next to the staff store area of some sort and opposite the dining room. This resulted in a lot of footfall, noise and ruckus into the late hours of the day. There is a large en-suite, but the solar water heating system means one has to let the taps run for a while before hot water is available. This wastage of water is certainly not desirable.Food: the quality of food is average at best and that was a let down. Perhaps this is the trend for the hotels of this chain at this price band. The pricing though is not aligned with the quality of food available. The staff covering the dining room tend to focus on larger groups and requests for water refills or taking a dessert order went unheeded for a while.Parking: the on-premises parking is a bit chaotic as guests strangely park too close to the vehicles and there seems to be no supervision around enabling the larger vehicles (Force Travelers) to be parked better.In summary, it wasn't a great experience. We wished it was better given Jaisalmer was the focus of our vacation, but I guess one has to make do with poor staff training, guest experience and not so great rooms.
