I couldn't recommend this place enough to anyone visiting Jaisalmer. Maru helped us organising a walking tour at the Fort with a knowledge and very entertaining guide. AND a desert adventure including camel ride and music and dance show.The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, tastefully decorated.We all loved our stay at Helsinki House!

My family and I stayed at Hotel Helsinki House during our trip to Jaisalmer while visiting from the US, and we had a great experience.The hotel is in a very convenient central location, making it easy to get around the city. One of our favorite parts was waking up and seeing Jaisalmer Fort right from our window. It really added to the whole experience of staying in the Golden City.The rooms were very spacious, clean, and comfortable, which we appreciated after long days of exploring. What stood out most was the kindness of the staff. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely cared that we were having a good stay.We also booked our Sam Sand Dunes activities through OB at the hotel. Even though we reached out at the last minute, he quickly helped arrange an excellent Jeep ride, ATV experience in the dunes, and a beautiful camel ride at sunset. Everything went smoothly and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.We truly enjoyed our stay here and would happily recommend Hotel Helsinki House to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

luxurious stay with spacious ,,highly recommend this property. I stayed here with me and my wife, The rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean. Staff was good, respectful and helpful. The Food good quality and freshly.Jaisalmer fort and gadisar lake , which are the 2 most important attraction for the tourists and can be reached in 10-15 mins

I stayed at Hotel Helsinki House during my recent trip to Jaisalmer and overall, it was a pleasant experience.’? Rooms:The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with a stunning interior that gives a heritage yet modern feel. The comfort level was really good.’? Washroom:I had booked two rooms, and one of the washrooms had an issue with odor. Although I reported it twice and the hotel staff responded immediately and cleaned it both times, the problem returned during the night. This was the only major inconvenience during the stay.’? Amenities & Convenience:There is no lift in the hotel, and the dining area is located on the third floor, so elderly guests or those with mobility issues may find it inconvenient.’? Food:The food served was delicious. I tried both dinner and breakfast, and the taste was consistently good. Breakfast is served by order and not buffet-style.’? Staff Behavior:The staff was extremely polite, helpful, and prompt. Their hospitality truly enhanced the overall experience.A great hotel with aesthetically beautiful rooms, great food, and amazing staff. If the washroom issue gets resolved and a lift is added in future, it will be close to perfect. Suitable for travelers looking for a comfortable stay with good service and tasty food.

Exceptional Stay and Warm Hospitality at Helsinki House, Jaisalmer! ’?We stayed at Helsinki House in October 2025 for 2 nights and 3 days as a family of four, and our experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish.Right from the time of booking, everything was smooth and hassle-free. I had been in touch with Maru ji, the owner of the property, since August, and he was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. He patiently answered all my queries before confirming our bookings for both Helsinki Desert Camp, Sam, and Helsinki House, Jaisalmer.The hospitality during our stay was truly outstanding. The rooms were clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable for our family. The rooftop restaurant offered a mesmerizing view of the Jaisalmer Fort, especially at sunset, and the food was delicious throughout.A special mention to Maru ji, who went the extra mile to make our stay convenient ’ he arranged a rickshaw and a knowledgeable guide for us to visit the Jaisalmer Fort and Patwon ki Haveli directly from the hotel. It was, once again, a seamless and hassle-free experience.Having already stayed at Helsinki Desert Camp before arriving at the hotel, we truly appreciated the same high standards of care, comfort, and attention to detail in both places.Overall, our experience with Helsinki House and their desert camp was exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaisalmer and looking for genuine hospitality, comfort, and memorable experiences.
