Nachana Haveli - A Heritage Hotel

Nachana Haveli is gorgeous. The rooms, hospitality, staff, service and personal attention that members of the royal family shower you with is unparalleled. It's one of the most stunning yet cozy and homely places I've stayed in. The food at Saffron Hotel is delicious. The location is perfect. Walking distance from the fort or a few minutes ride in a Tuktuk.Manager Naivaidya along his entire staff are top notch. Close your eyes and book. You'll not regret it. Happy Nachana stay! ’?

A haveli hotel that looks very beautiful at first glance. The front entrance and courtyards are indeed very beautiful and photogenic. Welcome and service(s) provided are ok, but not overtly hospitable. The rooms look great but on closer inspection are quite rundown with bits of plaster falling off, lots of loose fittings, a wobbly bed and a shower which has got hardly any water pressure but which sprays around the entire bathroom. Unfortunately, the room was also very noisy so everything from neighbouring rooms, the rooftop and surrounding streets can be heard. The breakfast was acceptable, though the rooftop setting far from beautiful. Main pro is it's proximity to all the cities' main attractions. A functional location but not a grand or luxury stay despite first appearances.

It was a good stay. Its a haveli converted to hotel. The owners stay in one part of it.As heard from guides it belongs to one of the kings relatives.The room we got was good and asthetic.The service was also good, brekfast served at table and was well prepared with good spread of options.I would recommend this hotel for a memeorable stay. The ambience outside the rooms is also good.The location is also good, in the city centre very accessible to local market.

The place would better serve as a place to visit, than too stay.Heritage - may be true. Comfortable stay - absolutely not true.They money and experience does not balance.-You can't have bathroom with mirrors at midget height (normal people cannot use it).-The bedroom does not have any sort of mirror. They have placed numerous faded copies of some old gora sahab pics but no place for a mirror.-the tv does not work.-no telephone & the reception is never manned.-the hotel management claims to close the gates after 1030 PM. I did not test it. I thought it was a hotel not a hostel.-No toiletries.-Rooms are not clean. I had food from previous occupants lying there in the almirah.-you cannot hang your clothes, no place.

We stayed at Nachana Palace, Jaisalmer for 2 nights and had a pleasant experience. The palace has a charming heritage feel, and the family managing it has links to royalty, which adds to the authentic old-world vibe. There are very old, well-preserved royal items on display, giving a glimpse into history.The rooms were spacious and decent, maintaining the palace character. The restaurant and food were good, and overall service was warm and satisfactory.A great place to stay if you enjoy heritage properties with a historical touch. Would recommend for a comfortable and cultural experience in Jaisalmer.
