Golden Haveli

Very nice stay at golden Haveli. They arrange our desert package and our desert experience is wonderful.Food is tasty and yummy. View from rooftop is top notch.Room is clean and washroom is also clean. Big parking available and wifi is very good.

Our stay here was one of our favorites from our time here in India. The rooms were big and clean and provided hot water and the interior of the hotel itself was very clean and pleasing. All of the staff were working very hard to accommodate to us and it was very lovely meeting such a nice crew. Despite being in a somewhat busy area our room was in a very quiet area so we were able to sleep peacefully. The food that was provided was also incredible we never wanted to leave the hotel . We will definitely be back again whenever we have the chance to come back to India. We were so blessed to be celebrating New Years here at this hotel and everything that they organized was incredible. Foods ,music DJ it was so amazing.

Wash room was having foul smell all the time and 2 single beds where joined to make the double bed with a stiff foam in middle which was very uncomfortable.

We recently stayed at Golden Haveli, Jaisalmer with our family, and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations, especially considering the premium room tariffs being charged.The room rates are significantly higher when compared to the overall quality of the rooms, linen, and amenities provided. The linen quality was below standard and did not reflect a luxury or heritage hospitality experience.Breakfast was another major disappointment. The spread was extremely limited, with no local Rajasthani delicacies offered, which is quite surprising for a heritage property in Jaisalmer. Additionally, the breakfast timing of 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM is very restrictive and impractical for guests on vacation. Check-out at 10:00 AM further adds to the inconvenience.During breakfast, I ordered an omelette which unfortunately had visible egg shell/crust in it, reflecting poor kitchen quality control.Most concerning was the attitude of the staff. They appeared uninterested in guest comfort or service excellence. The behavior was rude and very straightforward, with no effort made to enhance the guest experience or even respond politely to concerns raised.Overall, the stay felt overpriced and underwhelming, and it did not justify the cost paid. With better staff training, improved food quality, more flexible timings, and attention to guest experience, the property has potential’but in its current state, it falls short.I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve future guest experiences.

Hotel looks lovely from the outside. The staff helpful and hard working. The view from the rooftop of the fort spectacular.We were upgraded to a heritage room. Views over pool and to fort were lovely, and there was a nice window seat.However, general maintenance was poor. The phone was broken, the loo seat broken, the shower head broken, the windows very dirty. The room was cold, the pool looked dirty and cloudy. Staff were keen to help but the overall impression was poor. I think generally you get what you pay for.
