Hotel Royal Haveli

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my Rajasthan trip while visiting Jaisalmer with my family. Before arriving here, I had stayed at two other 3-star hotels in Jaipur and Jodhpur where the hospitality and overall experience were very good, so my expectations were similar here.Unfortunately, the experience at this hotel felt quite different from the beginning. The reception staff and overall interaction felt rather cold and not very welcoming. When we asked for help with local sightseeing or arranging an auto, the response was minimal. They did help a bit, but compared to the hospitality we experienced at the previous hotels, it felt lacking.We reached in the late afternoon and ordered tea to the room. The response from room service was surprising ’ we were asked to place the order quickly because the staff would soon be going to sleep, which was quite unusual to hear in a hotel.Basic room amenities were also missing. Complimentary tea/coffee supplies were not available initially, and even drinking water had to be requested. Toiletries were minimal ’ only soap was provided. Items like dental kits, shampoo, body wash, or body lotion were not available. Even the dustbins did not have garbage bags. These are small but basic details that we had seen provided at other hotels of the same category.Breakfast was complimentary but instead of a buffet they had a limited order-based menu. To be fair, they did help by preparing a spice-free paratha on request for my kid who is less than 2 years old, which we appreciated. However, during dinner when we specifically requested spice-free food for the same reason, the dish came quite oily and the roti was just average. It wasn’t suitable for a small child, so we had to give fruits instead.One positive experience was during checkout day. Our onward travel arrangements were scheduled later than the checkout time, but we still checked out on time and waited in the reception area. The reception staff was kind enough to provide us a room for 1’2 hours so we could rest before leaving, which we appreciated.Overall, the stay felt average and the vibe and hospitality did not match what we experienced at similar hotels earlier in the trip. I was a bit surprised seeing the high Google rating. When I later checked detailed reviews, I did find a few guests mentioning similar experiences, though they were fewer.The hotel has potential, but improvements in hospitality, service attitude, and basic amenities would definitely improve the guest experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Royal Haveli. The staff was genuinely supportive and welcoming throughout our stay. They were kind enough to allow us early check-in and late check-out, which made our trip much more comfortable and hassle-free.The room was very clean, hygiene was properly maintained, and all the basic amenities were available. The hotel itself is very well maintained and gives a pleasant, comfortable vibe.The breakfast was also good with nice quality and taste.Overall, it was a smooth and satisfying stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and great hospitality!

This hotel was really satisfying for me. My overall experience was great. This place ticks all the boxes whether it decency, staff’s behaviour, location, value for money it was not expensive. In addition to that they helped us even after checking out. Overall this hotel was best I stayed in Rajasthan.If will be back to jaisalmer I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Hotel Royal Haveli, Jaisalmer for 2 nights and had an amazing experience. The hotel rooms were neat, clean, and very luxurious. The rooftop restaurant was beautiful, and the food was tasty and amazing.We also enjoyed the desert camp experience, which was truly unforgettable. The desert safari was really amazing’camel safari and jeep safari were both well organized and a must-book experience. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and supportive throughout our stay.Overall, a wonderful stay with great hospitality. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Royal Haveli with my family ’’Staff was very polite. Infact they guided me for reaching Jaisalmer fort as this hotel is just within a walking distance from it .All 3 famous Haveli & Gadisar lake were also within walking distance.My kids loved the stay most as this Haveli provided them with a unique kind of bed ( they designed the window space into beautiful children beds )’’Breakfast was delicious & since their restaurant was on roof top it gave a good glimpses of Jaisalmer fort ’’
