Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa

Our family just got back from an amazing 3-night stay, and the hospitality here is truly outstanding. The property is huge and feels like a destination in itself for two days, featuring a clean pool, gym, library, a great 'Shuffle' game room with pool and foosball, and a soothing spa. Another big plus is the resort's central location in the city, making it very convenient. You can easily walk to Jaisalmer Fort, local markets, and some great local eateries. If walking isn't preferred, public transport right outside the gates makes city exploration simple. Check-in was smooth, with Ram & Rohan at the front desk being very helpful, explaining all the perks. As a Bonvoy Gold Elite member, I was excited to get an immediate upgrade to an Oasis view room. We received welcome drinks, and Shivani guided us to our room, detailing the property. Throughout our stay, Shivani and Lateshwari at the front desk were fantastic, gladly assisting with questions about tours and dining. The food and bar teams were excellent too. Breakfast was good, including tasty authentic Rajasthani dishes like dal pakwan and kachoris. Chef Pratap Singh personally checked on our meals and made special bakery and savory items that our 3-year-old son loved. In the evenings, we enjoyed wonderful mocktails made by Lakshya. A standout was 'Banthal'—their daily 5 PM high tea with savory snacks, tea, coffee, juices, and live music, creating a great atmosphere. The only downside was the property showing some wear and the room needing minor repairs. Also, the main Oasis water feature was drained for painting and renovation. Since I enjoy family portraits, I was a bit disappointed to miss those shots, but it didn't spoil our trip. Despite the renovation noise, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Everyone was very friendly, making this a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Terrible service. Room keys were unavailable because the server was down. Despite booking 50 rooms, the system was down all day, so no rooms could be opened or locked. The managers on duty offered poor excuses. Guests were left waiting outside their rooms for a very long time. Avoid this place if you want a comfortable stay. The hotel seriously needs fundamental improvements in essential support.

Nice place to stay close to all the main attractions in Jaisalmer.
