Highlights –

Here are the complete details:
A) India’s first centralised AC railway terminal in Bengaluru has started operations from today, i.e., 6th June. Constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 315 crore and equipped with all the modern facilities, the railway terminal has been designed to offer an airport-like experience to passengers. It is named after Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya and is Bengaluru’s third railway terminal in the Baiyappanahalli area.
Six trains will originate and terminate at Sir M Visvesvaraya terminal instead of Banaswadi Railway Station.

B) The Western Railway has decided to extend 28 summer special trains for the convenience of the passengers.
Here’s the complete list:
For the convenience of passengers, WR has extended the trips of 14 pairs of Summer Special Trains on Special Fare on same composition, timings & path.

Kindly note: If you are planning on travelling via the national transporter in the coming days, you can book a seat in these trains via ixigo.
C) To fulfil the requirements of travellers, the South Central Railway has launched three trains.

D) The Western Railway has decided to restore many popular trains. This step will help in managing the travel rush that’s expected during the summer vacations.
