IndiGo cancelled a number of flights across the country over the weekend. Over 30 flights are likely to be cancelled today, i.e., 11th February, following the shortage of pilots.
India’s low-cost carrier cancelled around 15 flights on Saturday and around 7 on Sunday, 10th February.
One of the airport officials said, “The airline has been facing problems in crew management. Therefore, these flights, which had to depart from Delhi yesterday and today were cancelled.”
IndiGo in a statement said that due to a severe hailstorm on 7th February in North India, 11 IndiGo flights were diverted, disrupting the operations across our network the following day.
