For Delhi

All international passengers arriving at the Delhi Airport have to fill the self-declaration form and upload a negative RT-PCR report within 72 hours of boarding at the Air Suvidha portal.

Travellers from ‘at-risk’ countries will have to undergo an RT-PCR test upon arrival and will have to wait at the airport premises for the report.

Passengers arriving from countries except the ‘at-risk’ countries will be allowed to leave the airport. They will have to self-monitor their health for 14 days post-arrival. 2% of the passengers of each flight will undergo random testing at the airport.

For Maharashtra

Maharashtra has categorised passengers arriving from ‘high-risk countries’ – including South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe — as ‘high-risk passengers.’ This also includes the passengers who have travelled to these countries within the last 15 days before their arrival in the state.

Such passengers can be deplaned on priority, and separate counters will be arranged for them at the airports. They will have to undergo an RT-PCR test upon arrival. If they are found to be negative, they will be placed in a mandatory institutional quarantine for seven days and will be retested on the seventh day.

Travellers who test positive will be immediately shifted to a medical facility.

If the report is negative on the seventh day, they will have to stay in home quarantine for the next seven days.

Travellers coming from ‘at-risk’ countries will also have to undergo a RT-PCR test at the airport. Only after the results are out, will they be allowed to leave the airport or onboard the connecting flight. If negative, they will undergo home quarantine for seven days and take a test on the eighth day. If positive, they will undergo treatment and their samples will be sent for genomic sequencing.

For Bhubaneswar

All the international passengers de-boarding at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) will have to carry a negative RT-PCR test report issued within 48 hours of arrival, irrespective of their vaccination status.

Travellers who cannot produce a negative report will be tested at the airport testing facility.

The passengers submitting a negative test report or found to be negative will still have to undergo seven-day home quarantine. On the eighth day, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) will again collect their sample for testing.

Those found positive will be isolated, and their samples will be sent for genome sequencing as per the protocol.

See the official order here:

For Mizoram

Any person entering Mizoram with an international travel history in the last 14 days of their arrival in the state will have to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT). Then, their samples will be collected for RT-PCR testing, regardless of their vaccination status or even if they are carrying a negative test report.

Negative without symptoms: Such passengers will either be quarantined at the quarantine facilities or at home for seven days. Their sample will be collected again on the eighth day for a second RT-PCR test.

Negative with symptoms: They will undergo RT-PCR/True-Nat test again. If still negative, these passengers will be quarantined for seven days and take a test again on the eighth day.

Positive: Such travellers are to be immediately isolated and treated in designated facilities as per the COVID-19 protocol.

For Chennai

The Chennai Airport has made it mandatory for all international passengers to fill the self-declaration form and upload the negative RT-PCR report of a test taken 72 hours prior to departure on the Air Suvidha portal.

Passengers from ‘at-risk’ countries will have to submit their swab samples and wait for the results at the airport. If found negative, they will have to follow a seven-day home quarantine, retest on the eighth day, and then self-monitor health for the next seven days.

Travellers from countries except the ‘at-risk’ countries will be allowed to leave the airport and will have to self-monitor their health for 14 days. 2% of the total flight passengers will have to undergo random testing post-arrival.

Thermal screening will be carried out on arrival, and passengers found symptomatic during screening will be immediately isolated/shifted to a medical facility.

See the official order here:

For Jammu

All international travellers will have to undergo an RT-PCR test upon arrival at the airport.

After the sample collection, the passengers will be sent to administrative or government quarantine centres till the results arrive.

If found positive, their samples will be sent for genome sequencing and the person will be shifted to a separate ward in the DRDO Hospital in Jammu.

If found negative, the person will have to stay in a home/administrative quarantine for seven days, take a retest on the eighth day, and self-monitor health for the next seven days.
