Several Trains Cancelled by Railways on Popular Routes

Due to non-interlocking and other maintenance work being undertaken in multiple sections, various zones of Indian Railways have cancelled many train services. Scroll down for further details.

> Owing to remodelling work at the Gonda Junction yard, the North Eastern Railway and the Western Railway have cancelled the following trains:

  • For journeys commencing on 17th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 27th, 28th, 30th, 31st May and 1st, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th June, train nos. 12530/12529 Lucknow–Patliputra–Lucknow Express will be cancelled. 
  • For journeys commencing on 22nd and 29th May, and 5th June, train no. 22921 Bandra Terminus–Gorakhpur Express will be cancelled. 

> Additionally, the North Eastern Railway has released a list of 82 trains that will be affected due to the Gonda Junction remodelling work. Here’s the list:

> Due to a traffic block at Kharagpur Railway Station, the North Western Railway has cancelled two trains. 

Train no. 20971 Udaipur City–Shalimar Express will be cancelled on 21st May. Train no. 20972 Shalimar–Udaipur City Express will be cancelled on 22nd May. 

> The South Central Railway also announced cancellation and partial cancellation of nine trains.
