Do I Need a Voltage Converter in Faroe Islands?

Faroe Islands runs on a main voltage of 230 volts at a frequency of 50 Hz. This is effectively the same as India's 230V/50Hz. You can plug any Indian device into a Faroe Islands socket without a voltage converter, as long as the plug shape fits.

Will my Indian charger work in Faroe Islands?

Your charger will work, but only with a plug adapter. Faroe Islands uses Type F and K sockets at 230V/50Hz. Your Indian phone and laptop chargers are dual-voltage (the label reads 100–240V), so they handle Faroe Islands voltage without any issue. The only question is plug shape — your Indian plug will not fit Type F and K sockets at all, so you must carry a travel adapter. You do not need a voltage converter — Faroe Islands's 230V is the same as India's 230V.
