Do I Need a Voltage Converter in South Korea?

South Korea runs on a main voltage of 220 volts at a frequency of 60 Hz. This is effectively the same as India's 230V/50Hz. You can plug any Indian device into a South Korea socket without a voltage converter, as long as the plug shape fits.

Will my Indian charger work in South Korea?

Yes, but it depends on which socket your hotel has. South Korea uses Type C and F sockets at 220V/60Hz. Your Indian phone and laptop chargers are dual-voltage (the label reads 100–240V), so they handle South Korea voltage without any issue. The only question is plug shape — your Indian plug fits Type C sockets directly, but will not fit Type F sockets without an adapter. You do not need a voltage converter — South Korea's 220V is the same as India's 230V.
