Q: Who accompanied you on this trip?

Arjun: I went there with the crew of the film…almost 200 people.

Q: Where did you stay?

Arjun: We stayed at The Piccadily Lucknow. It is just a few minutes drive from the airport and has clean, well laid out rooms.

Q: Did you meet any interesting people?

Arjun I met lots of interesting people. I met Abhinash Yadav, the reference for my character. He has such a different personality. The man is six feet tall, is a pure vegetarian and goes for walk early in the morning. My chauffeur too was an interesting person.

Q: Did you do any shopping?

Arjun: I did not shop at all…but yes, a few members from the crew bought Lucknawi Chikan kurtas.

Q: Any Sightseeing recommendations?

Arjun: Bhool Bhulaiya in Lucknow is a major tourist attraction and a must visit. The city is an architectural wonder. Buildings in the new as well as old part of the city are also worth a visit.

Q: Any travel tips?

Arjun: Right from the hotel bookings to the travel tickets, I have the habit of reconfirming everything on my own. I want to head for the destination fully prepared instead of just landing there and then repenting. That’s what I’d tell the readers too: be fully prepared before you leave for any destination.

Q: What have you learnt?

Arjun: Going on a holiday makes me realize the true value of work. Work can be really exciting but once you are totally exhausted you yearn for a holiday.

Ixigo: I’d love to visit?

Arjun: I would love to go to Ladakh for a shoot. I feel it offers one a lot scope to experiment.
