Breaking News: As heavy rains lash Gujarat’s Vadodara, operations are halted at Vadodara Airport till Friday, 9 AM and a few trains have been cancelled due to waterlogging.
Western Railways said some trains passing through Vadodara were either cancelled or diverted due to “heavy waterlogging.”
All schools and colleges have been ordered to remain closed today. Vadodara railway station will also remain shut.
Over 100 people have been rescued from the flooding waters of the Vishwamitri River, Vadodara.
Note: Several parts of Gujarat, including Saurashtra, would receive “heavy to very heavy rains” during the next two days.
