Aqua Beach Rooms, only accommodation on Ashwem Beach

Amazing property with an amazing location. We tried the side view room. Nice facilities and well maintained rooms with all required amenities. The kitchen serves tasty food and very friendly front desk staff.

Neither the place was clean nor was it safe. The first red flag was when I received a message from the property at 1.06pm on the day of chechin that I need to pay an advance sum of almost 40% of the entire booking amount before 2pm or else they cancel my booking. Luckily at this time I was available and made the payment immediately but I could be travelling or be unavailable due to any reason and they would cancel the booking. I made booking for 2 nights in the studio apartment and 1 night in their deluxe stay. The studio was booked because I was alert but the other booking got cancelled without me knowing and I cannot see it in my bookings in Agoda. I stayed in their studio room with an open terrace and a great view. But the room and facilities were abysmal. They take the entire booking amount from you on the first day itself because they know no one will stay longer or pay this kind of money for such poor service. On day one I was by myself and a random guy climbed the staircase, crossed the terrace and jumped off and came back the same way without informing me. There was continuous construction work going on in the property next door which I wasn't informed of, so privacy whatsoever. They hadn't changed or bothered to add a dry mat on the entire terrace area the entire monsoon which meant the terrace was squishy the entire time. The moment I hung the towel on the towel rack, it fell almost hurting my foot...when I told the staff about that they said it happens and to ignore it. The lock I was given was completely rusted and wouldn't close when I wanted to leave the room, they took plenty of time to give me a new one...all the while I was hungrily waiting to leave. I had stayed in the same location a few times before when the place was called La'Amore, and they had great facility and hospitality at the time. But after the renovation and rebranding the entire the place has lost its charm. The place feels extremely congested. I was so happy to leave this messy place, would have left sooner had they not taken money in advance.

As it shown in pics properly is not the same...no card accepted... Way to beach path was like washroom path...rooms are badly stinking showers in bathroom is not working properly adding to this when we asked for shower gel they provided in some softdrin bottles and we have to refill that too so more or less rooms services are not that worthy as they claim

I stayed for three days in the king room with a sea view. Besides the view, everything else was subpar. Cleanliness was poorly maintained. Room service was terrible. One day the kitchen was closed all day, and another evening when I tried to order tea, they said it was rest time and to call later. Imagine having to leave the hotel just to get tea. When I asked for room cleaning, they refused, saying it only happens every other day. When they did clean, they left used utensils outside the room all day, and some used cutlery remained inside. Cleaning only involved mopping the floor and changing towels. If you’re booking just for the view, this place might work, but otherwise, avoid it because the staff only hands you the keys and takes them back when you leave. Don’t expect anything more from them.

The stay was enjoyable and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful.
