Atmaveda Riverside Homestay

My experience here was terrible. The food tasted stale and bitter. The service was very poor, and the staff did not respond well. The washrooms were dirty. I would not suggest this place. The current rating of over 4 feels fake to me.

Stayed recently for two days with my family of seven. The location is among the best, and the rooms are very spacious. Mr. Nagesh is a great asset to the resort and took excellent care of us. The food quality is average and could be better. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. The snacks are fantastic. The highlight is definitely the location by the Cauvery riverbank, with plenty of birds to observe. Overall, an amazing stay. Many thanks to Mr. Imaad.

Our time at Atmaveda Riverside Homestay was unforgettable and went beyond what we expected. Located along the scenic River Kaveri, the place provides stunning views of the river, rich greenery, and nearby forest. Waking up to the calming sound of the river and spending time in such tranquil surroundings was an ideal break from the busy city life. The rooms are roomy, tidy, and cozy, and the whole property is well cared for with many outdoor areas to unwind and enjoy nature. The environment is peaceful, refreshing, and perfect for families, couples, or groups seeking a revitalizing weekend escape. The food deserves special praise. Each meal was tasty, fresh, and had a lovely homemade feel. We particularly enjoyed the variety in the breakfast options daily, and the lime soda is definitely worth trying! What really makes Atmaveda special is its warm hospitality. Every staff member—from housekeeping and restaurant staff to the front desk—was polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. A heartfelt thanks to Nagesh, whose constant smile, humility, and caring attitude made our stay even better. He went above and beyond to help with even the smallest needs, making us feel truly welcomed and valued. His commitment and kindness truly represent the outstanding hospitality at Atmaveda. If you want a quiet getaway near Bangalore to reconnect with nature, enjoy great food, and experience sincere hospitality, Atmaveda Riverside Homestay is an excellent choice. Strongly recommended!

Very close to the bird sanctuary, you can do some bird watchimg from the stay itself. The river flowing just besides the resort adds a lot to the charm. They have built canopies and platforms to enjoy the riverview.The evening tea with Pakoras besides the river were very enjoyable, so were the outdoor game setups such as cricket/badminton/table tennis and archery.The service was also good, but theu should now employ a professional chef as the food was oily and made by an amateur with nothing much to talk about. Rooms also were okay, no full size mirror and basic furnishing, not sound proof.

Impression: We arrived at 10:30 am but no one was there to open the gate. Considering the price, we expected better service. Rooms: They were clean with basic amenities, but the bed was small for three people (2 adults and 1 child) and expensive. Reception area: There are three desks, but no staff available when needed. We had to get someone from the kitchen to bring a mattress. Location: This is the main advantage. The price mainly reflects the location, not the service or rooms. Staff and food: Some staff, like the kitchen manager, were quick and helpful. We chose ala carte food, which was tasty and reasonably priced.
