Atmaveda Riverside Homestay

We booked into the homestay for a day and the facilities were good.. The staff and food quality is exceptional and loved our time there.. Would definitely visit again and recommend the same..

Beautiful resort on the banks of the Kaveri. Great spot to disconnect from the world.The good - food is provided as part of stay is fairly good. The service staff is friendly and quick to respond to respect. We had a bonfire on evening. You can spend time by the river and plenty of places under the shade to take in nature. Plenty of birds.The bad - rooms are run down, poorly maintained. Our room har paint peeling due to moisture. It smelt bad. We are not expecting luxury but clean, neat and maintained rooms would've been nice. This took away from the other good things that were there.

I visited this place with my family, and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful experience. Waking up to the sound of a flowing river right in front of our room was incredibly calming and made the stay truly special. The food was delicious, the ambience was soothing, and the warmth of the people made us feel right at home.A heartfelt thanks to Nagesh and Mahesh, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape away from the city and the rush of everyday life, this place is a must-visit. It’s not just a stay’it’s an experience you’ll want to come back to. Definitely a bucket-list destination.

A fantabulous location! Unbeatable indeed.. the murmur of the river (Cauvery) and be it sipping coffee/tea or having meals there makes it an amazing experience n memorable!Perfect for anyone -singles/couples/families; the place is kids' friendly.It has a lovely lawn- walk/play area with plenty of coconut trees. The have cricket kits, badminton kits, TT kits.A perfect place for any occasion - birthday/anniversary/photo shoot..The food is great with buffet n a la carte options available.

My cousin and I had planned a serene and relaxing family getaway and chose Atmaveda Riverside Homestay for its peaceful riverside setting. Our reservation was made for the Shivasamudra property, and we began our journey from Bangalore on the morning of 26th January.Due to both properties being listed under the same name, Google Maps automatically selected the closest location from Bangalore, which I unfortunately failed to notice. As a result, we were directed to Atmaveda Riverside Homestay, Srirangapatna, located approximately 75 kilometres away from the property we had originally booked. Upon reaching the property shortly after noon, we contacted the reception desk to enquire about parking, at which point we realised that we had arrived at the wrong location. We immediately explained the situation to the management, as we were travelling with three children below five years, and my wife is six months pregnant.The management responded with exceptional empathy and professionalism. They promptly coordinated with the Shivasamudra property and resolved the situation within a short time. As the tariff at the Shivasamudra property differed from our original booking, an additional payment of ’5,000 was required. This was communicated clearly and handled in a transparent and professional manner, making the transition smooth and stress-free.The stay itself was excellent. The riverside location offers a calm and refreshing atmosphere, and waking up to the view of the riverbank was a highlight of our visit. The food was enjoyable, and the overall hospitality reflected warmth, respect, and thoughtful attention to guest comfort.Suggestion: Expanding the range of South Indian cuisine would further enhance the dining experience.We sincerely appreciate the Atmaveda team for their outstanding service, understanding, and gracious handling of our situation. Highly recommended for families seeking a refined and relaxing riverside retreat.
