Atmaveda Riverside Homestay

The location is good, but the stay was quite the opposite. The ACs didn't work, and the bathroom smelled so bad that we decided to leave quickly without using the toilets. For the price, it was terrible. I have reported the issue to the booking site for appropriate action. The food was also very poor. We planned to go somewhere nearby, but the manager said he would handle dinner, which turned out just as bad. They seem to be overcharging for such poor quality. We met others who were also unhappy with similar complaints. The reviews can't be trusted. Something is definitely wrong.

The location is excellent, but the room was very poor and below basic standards for the price. The AC was malfunctioning and the room was quite hot, the place seemed run down and in need of maintenance. It was quite expensive for what was offered. The kettle was not working. The food was terrible, overly oily and spicy, resembling something from a roadside stall. We had booked for two days but left after one. Other guests were experiencing similar problems. The management suggested moving us to a cottage, but it had a smell that could cause allergies, so we stayed in the same room. We came here based on positive reviews, but now we are questioning what is happening.

I would advise against staying here. The manager is quite rude and fails to communicate well with guests. The staff and housekeeping are unhelpful, and there appears to be no proper dress code or professionalism. The food quality was very poor and seemed unsafe to eat. The rooms were filthy, and the noisy AC made the stay unpleasant. Additionally, access to the river is now blocked off by a boundary, so if you are coming for the river experience, you might be very let down. Overall, it felt like a total waste of money. If you are planning a trip and spending your hard-earned cash, reconsider before picking this place.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is the highlight of the resort, with a beautiful river running through the grounds that is truly captivating. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The owner was very accommodating, allowing us to change our booking even after the cancellation period had ended.

Excellent location and wonderful service! A special shoutout to Mr. Nagesh, who goes above and beyond to make sure every guest is well looked after!
