Long Review Alert!!This place is simply awesome for most parts but comes with some caveats.Best Part - the private beach access to Radhanagar Beach. It’s 500m away from the public entrance and it’s way less crowded at this properties beach.Overall hotel property is awesome with lots of greenery, bird sightings and lots of trees. Their reception area, which also has a cozy bar, is great place to hang out.We stayed in their largest cottage, sadly the room is decent sized but washroom and the deck was huge. Those were hardly usable because you’ll spend most of the time at the beach.We did their private dinner by the beach for special occasion. It’s a decent experience, nice decor with average food. They didn’t serve lobster in this dinner even after giving preferences was surprising. This dinner was 18k and didn’t provide value for money.Hospitality is mixed as well, reception staff and the bartenders are warm and welcoming but other staff definitely need some training.

We went for the Radha Nagar sunset view. It was well worth it.They take a 500/- per person cover charge redeemable at the bar but the drink menu is very limited.Food could have been better.We did not stay here so cannot attest for the rooms.The ambience is wonderfully chill and the beach view is breathtaking. They give you tea and mats to see the sunset.Absolutely beautiful experience.

Barefoot at Havelock is blessed with one of the most spectacular locations in India. Situated right next to Radhanagar Beach’often called the best beach in Asia’the setting is truly magical. Surrounded by dense forest, the property feels like a secluded nature escape and is perfect for those looking to disconnect and immerse themselves in the outdoors.However, while the location is unbeatable, the accommodation falls short of expectations. The rooms are extremely dated and lack even basic hotel amenities such as dental kits, slippers, vanity kits, proper hooks in the washrooms, etc. Both the rooms and bathrooms are very poorly lit, creating an eerie rather than romantic ambience. The furniture and overall interiors clearly need refurbishment.The dining experience was another disappointment. Breakfast is ?? la carte with very limited options and almost no variation across days, which becomes monotonous during a longer stay. The restaurant service also needs improvement’while the reception staff is warm and welcoming, the servers appeared ill-informed about the menu and struggled to answer basic questions. Given the large number of staff on site, better training and efficiency at the restaurant would significantly enhance the guest experience.That said, the location remains Barefoot’s biggest and undeniable USP. We would love to visit again for the beach and natural surroundings alone, but would think twice before making it our final choice unless improvements are made to the rooms and food service. Unfortunately, the exclusivity of the location leaves guests with few alternatives, making one accept sub-par accommodation and dining in exchange for an otherwise extraordinary setting.

Absolutely loved my stay at Barefoot Resort! This resort is a perfect, tranquil blend of forest and beach. The location on Radhanagar Beach means you can witness one of the most beautiful sunsets right from the property. The atmosphere is incredibly quiet and relaxing, and the entire staff is amazing. I must give a special shout-out to the chefs’the food they prepare is simply outstanding! A truly wonderful experience.
