We chose Bonita Banasura based on positive reviews, but our stay was quite disappointing. We wanted to relax in a lake-view room and enjoy the hotel's food, but upon arrival in the afternoon, we were told the kitchen was closed because the chef was on leave and no one else was available to cook. This was not communicated beforehand. Since the location is remote with limited dining options, we had to drive out and spend a lot of time arranging meals, which disrupted our relaxing plans. We stayed in the premium lake-view room; the balcony view was the highlight and truly beautiful. However, the room did not justify the premium price: the mattress was average, there was no ceiling fan only an AC, and the TV was unusable due to non-working channels. The property felt old and poorly maintained, with basic amenities not meeting our expectations. It seemed more like a budget hotel than a well-kept premium place. While the location and lake view are great, the hospitality and overall experience were lacking. I recommend confirming the kitchen is open before booking, especially given the few nearby restaurants. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again based on our experience.

Couple • Aug 2026Bonita Banasura is an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting the Banasura area. The terrace provides stunning views—on one side, you can admire the lovely Banasura Dam backwaters, and on the other, the picturesque Banasura Hills. It's an ideal place to unwind and take in the scenery. The breakfast was very good, the staff were warm and hospitable, and ample parking is available, adding to the convenience of the stay. However, there is no direct walking path from the property to the backwaters; to get to the waterfront, you must use the main road. Overall, it offers a tranquil experience with wonderful hospitality and beautiful vistas. Strongly recommended!
