We recently stayed at this resort with our family, and sadly, it turned out to be one of our worst experiences. The rooms were dirty, and the overall cleanliness and upkeep were very lacking. The staff's attitude, particularly the night receptionist, was extremely rude and unacceptable. The receptionist appeared to be under the influence of drugs at night, which escalated into a serious issue. They approached our family aggressively and even attempted to physically assault us. They also treated us poorly and referred to us as “locals.” This incident caused great fear among our family members. During the event, my mother even fell off the bed. The whole situation was unsafe and frightening for us. We never expected such conduct from a resort employee. A resort should be a safe and comfortable place, especially for families, but we felt neither secure nor respected here. Additionally, there were no suitable games or activities for guests. Given the price we paid, the cleanliness, service, behavior, and safety were all unacceptable. I strongly advise against this resort for families. Please reconsider before booking here, especially if you are traveling with children or elderly relatives.

The room was poorly maintained and unclean, and even the basic amenities were below the standard we anticipated from a resort. A major concern was that my mother fell off the bed because it was unstable and unsafe, which was very alarming for our family. We expected fundamental safety and proper upkeep. The staff's behavior was also a big letdown; they referred to us as "locals" despite us being paying guests, and some staff spoke to us disrespectfully, making us feel unwelcome. Another serious issue was that at night, some staff members were intoxicated and lying around after drinking, which made us uneasy since in case of an emergency or need for help, the responsible staff would not be reliable. The food quality and service were also unsatisfactory. Overall, nearly every part of our stay failed to meet reasonable standards. This was a very unpleasant experience for our family, and we hope management addresses these issues, especially room safety, cleanliness, food, service, staff behavior, and night-time guest support. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this resort to others.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Terrace Resort, a hidden gem in the scenic Wayanad. The resort offers breathtaking views of the lush greenery and the serene lake, and is easily accessible by road. The staffs are very courteous and attentive, and made us feel welcome. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with large windows that let in the natural light and beauty. The food was delicious and varied, and we loved the nature walk that the resort arranged for us along the lake side. We highly recommend Terrace Resorts to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Wayanad.
