Petals Resort

Overall, the resort is good, but the management should inspect the heater proactively. We had to call reception multiple times in one day for issues with the remote, geyser, and more. It would be better if these were checked before guests arrive. The jacuzzi room and the room itself are nice, but it takes about 2 hours to fill the jacuzzi, and the drainage is also slow. You end up calling reception all day long. Enjoy that.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The food is excellent, and the surrounding area is lovely. Definitely a place to visit.

I stayed at Petals Resort with my family, and we booked 5 rooms for a group of around 20 people. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing due to the staff's attitude and lack of hospitality.We ordered food from outside, and the staff told us that outside food was not allowed. However, this policy was never mentioned to us at the time of booking or check-in. If it's a rule, guests should be informed in advance.The most disappointing part was that when we asked for plates to eat the food we had already ordered, the staff refused to provide them. We were forced to eat outside, and some of the food was wasted. Eventually, we had to order disposable plates from outside ourselves.I have stayed at many 5-star hotels in Dubai, where ordering outside food has never been an issue. Even when hotels have restrictions, the staff are courteous and happy to provide basic items like plates as a gesture of hospitality.The attitude of the staff at Petals Resort was disappointing and unprofessional. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately, that was completely missing during our stay. I have recently visited this property during tour of Wayanad in first week of June 2026. The location is fantastic, with clean swimming pool and entire area. The fig trees are marvellous so as the sitting area. Only minus point I found is they are not serving anything beyond buffet. Otherwise courtesy of staff members, food and hospitality were fantastic. I will definitely visit again.
