Calangute Grande Hotel

Thanks to God, our stay at Calangute Grande hotel was very pleasant. The service was excellent. We suggest this hotel for an enjoyable visit.

We recently stayed at Calangwood Grand, Goa, and our experience has been quite mixed’but unfortunately ended on a very disappointing note.To be fair, on the previous night, the staff did fulfill our requests. We were provided with an extra mattress before heading out for a party, and even a simple request like a broom for cleaning the room was promptly taken care of. This made us feel that the service was decent.However, the experience the next morning was something I have never faced before in my life.Our package included breakfast, and we completely understood that with only three guests, a buffet might not be arranged. We respected that and did not question it. But when we made a genuine request to have breakfast sent to our room’since my son was suffering from severe leg cramps’we were bluntly refused and told to carry it ourselves.What was more disappointing was the arrogant and insensitive attitude of certain staff members, especially someone from the kitchen (possibly named Alexa/Alex) and the female receptionist. There was a complete lack of empathy and basic courtesy.Hospitality is not just about fulfilling requests selectively; it is about consistency, understanding, and respect towards guests. While our earlier requests were handled well, the behavior we experienced in the morning overshadowed everything.This kind of response in a genuine situation is simply unacceptable and has left us deeply disappointed.
