Chettinad Narayana Vilas

Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was tidy and well kept, offering on-site parking which was very convenient. Our rooms were immaculate and equipped with all the essential amenities. The restaurant on the premises stood out with delicious food and excellent service during our visit. I would certainly suggest this place and return myself.

A really pleasant stay overall. The property was clean and well-maintained, with parking available on-site — a nice convenience. The rooms were spotless and came with all the basic amenities we needed. The in-house restaurant was a highlight: the food was great, and the hospitality throughout our stay was top-notch. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Pleasant experience

Our time at Narayana Vilas felt like home and was comfortable, except for frequent power outages despite having a generator. The atmosphere was pleasant. Services were provided only upon request since one person at the front desk handled all issues. There was limited but very secure car parking inside the villa grounds. Food needed to be ordered before heading out for sightseeing. The kitchen staff were very kind and polite. The location is central, with all heritage palaces and attractions within walking distance. Free bicycle rides were available, making for a wonderful early morning experience.

We had a wonderful experience at Sree Narayana Vilas, which serves as both a homestay and a restaurant. The rooms were comfortable, making for a truly relaxing and pleasant stay. The food was fantastic throughout our visit. While the Chicken Chettinad had a slightly unique take rather than the traditional style, it was incredibly flavorful and super tasty’easily a highlight of our meals. What really stood out was the exceptional hospitality. The entire staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely warm, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area
